Anyway this series is kinda meh to me, never could connect with any of the characters (maybe because I could foresee the upcoming drama for the sake of drama) in the way Gamma did

I feel like story in this one is all over the place compared to Gamma for example, it definitely does not do any justice for characters - I'm simply unable to care, there's no room for that.
Going back to Gamma again, 2 chapters about Discharge made bigger impact on me that this whole manga by far, newest chapters made things even worse.

I don't know why i get this feeling, but this manga's direction make me feel like some unseen twist, or other McGuffin is coming that will somehow retroactively fix everything. Seems like too much is happening too quickly for this to cleanly resolve in a way that will be satisfying.

While I have a lot of problems with this series and the writing I find the idea of "huge titties = bad series" to be silly. Though I might also be misunderstanding you, and apologies if I am. Still I imagine even if the writing was amazing there would be people calling the series terrible just because of the breast size regardless. Not a line of logic I'll ever follow personally, but alas haha

Unfortunately, that is painfully realistic: people just don't fall over dead immediately, but some of their bodily functions try to keep going as long as they can, so even victims with lethal injuries breathe for a bit even while there is literally nothing anyone can do for them. That's why triage exists in the first place. But I do agree with you that, apart from extra realism, it is unclear what the author wanted to achieve with this plot point.

I also have a feeling that these last few chapters are extremely rushed, which probably means the manga is getting the axe and Ogino Jun is desperately trying to cram the rest of the story in the few chapters he has left. This one chapter essentially contains three episodes: Yorino's rescue and loss of an eye; Youko's death and Yorino's breakdown, with the reveal of Manabe's double in the background; and finally the attack on the Bastion and Yorino's return to action.

Welp if Youko's dead then this is the end for me. I was only in this for Yorino x Youko ╮( ˘_˘ )╭
