But - pet peeve in the first bubble. - come with. Drives me nuts! You can't just say 'come with?' and stop there - it's come with ME! right? or 'you didn't have to come too'. But to say come with, is very bad / incorrect English - or is this some Americanism I'm unaware of?

Same here. I tend to speak pretty formally, but I still shorten the phrase to "come with" on a pretty frequent basis, especially when I'm talking with family.

It's not common, but it's not unheard of, either. Usually, when I hear the phrase "Come with", it's associated with old Jewish people in the Northeast US, chiefly New York.
