@Lilliwyt I did do the same- obviously. And I didnt act an ass I thought.. It was a question and statement of simple fact. even if we have some spanish speakers the VAST majority are NOT and if they want to be understood- which presumably they do or they wouldnt bother posting- then they SHOULD be posting in English.
And sure it only takes a minute for us to translate message.. but that ALSO holds true for them.
It also makes sense for the one posting to be considerate enough to do the translation if they want to be understood as apposed to them foisting that onus on everyone else. It is ALSO far more efficent to have the ONE person doing the post to translate themselves, rather than asking each and every person who reads it to have to go and translate it themselves one by one. The alternative being, most people just ignore it.. which presumably they also dont want.
If i was a memeber of a Japanese board where everyone was talking Japanese.. I know for sure I'd not bother commenting on it in English- especially if I expected responses.
Am I wrong anywhere in that assessment?
