Well I'd really like to know where they come from, because as far as I'm aware, those types of words didn't have any form of cultural impact or significance until they started circulating around Tumblr mid-2010s.

The term cisnormativity seems to date back to the early 2000s, but discussions about cisgender and transgender identities date back much further.
