Idk this actually made me feel a little sad, just having to read so much of "haha obviously we're not dating for real because 2 girls" and everyone including MC calling the girl such a "boyfriend" just struck me the wrong way. I've seen the trope before because lol it's everywhere, but for some reason this story really hammered that message so much to me that it was the thing I took away from it the most. Even when they finish by keeping their relationship secret at the end! The two of them were definitely cute together but everything else going on around them put a damper on it for me
This manga just felt very out of date to me. It feels much more like something from like 2005. With them being so surprised by the idea two girls can date, not to mention the casual sexism, saying she can't be "cool and decisive like a boy", I'm not even sure what that means. Not to say this manga is offensively terrible or anything, it's mostly fine, it's just that I feel like yuri manga moved past this kinda story over a decade ago.
I wanna know what non-H yuri you saw in 2005 casually showing them getting as far as sex, because all I can remember is being crushed by subtext in almost anything that wasn't just porn.
It's not like these stigmas have disappeared completely, so I don't think it's bad to write about. Personally, I loved this.
For me it's not that I have anything against it per se. But it would be nice to see some more stories where the teen girls aren't going "girls can date??!!1?" For variety, at least?
How far did they get in their bed play?! Yui seems undressed and that's a "fingering hurts with nails" reaction.
I agree with everything you say!
They got to it pretty quick too, like hey it's cloudy out how bout we..... go hang out in your room raises eyebrow
Tsk, teenagers

Of course, it does have more modern elements to it, like the fact it isn't at a girls school, but I was referring more to the overall plot and general vibe than any individual elements.
Yeah I'm convinced that school nurses are a myth. Either that or they're all very supportive of teenagers exploring their sexuality and kindly step out of the room whenever they detect two horny students approaching.
