I'm still not awake enough to engage with the last 7 paragraphs, but I still want to state for the record that simply referring to Rojava as "the Kurds" is a tad too simplistic, as there are many Arabs, Assyrians and even Syrian Turkmen (though they're really just a subset of the Turkish people) and Armenians amongst their ranks. Just like the other sides of the Syrian Civil War, there isn't a one-on-one correlation between side and ethnicity.

The Kurdish question matters Hell of a lot because at circa 55% of the region's population (as of 2010, probably higher now) they're the by far largest and unsurprisingly duly dominant ethnic group in the Rojava. It matters even more in the larger geopolitics of the Middle East for reasons that I hopefully need not elaborate upon - suffice to say that if Damascus and Moscow need to accept the autonomy of the region it's not hard to see why they'd rather have it under a group that wants to stay aloof from wider Kurdish nationalism (and thus potential secessionism).

As for the rest the summa summarum is basically that Damascus wrote off the region and treats its factual autonomy as a fait accompli already because they need to focus their efforts on more important parts of the country, and the Rojava essentially bowed out of the rebellion to do their own thing and left the rest to fend for themselves. Somewhat amusingly Internet services in their territory are apparently still managed by the strongly governement-affiliated Syrian Telecom...
As such their only serious military challenge came from the IS, a loony bandit state roundly hated by approximately everyone including most other jihadist groups, and demonstrating themselves to be useful and reliable auxiliaries against that lot duly earned them substantial external assistance. Probably another reason why Damascus at least for now seems to be willing to entertain the idea of working out a compromise too; they don't much like jihadists in general and the IS in particular, either, and useful buffer is useful.

In the final analysis their continued survival comes down to having been essentially left alone by the big fishes in the pond, and being useful in containing an altogether bigger headache just about everyone agrees (when was the last time Iran and the US independently worked towards the same goal?) needed beating down. Whether they will survive the eventual end of the civil war - or even to see it - is fundamentally up to the geostrategic calculus of Damascus and Moscow, not themselves. For a bit of a historical parallel I probably needn't remind you what happened to Makhno's lot once they outlived their usefulness and the Bolsheviks could spare the necessary forces...

Now I have no real issue with this or whatever Realpolitik the Rojava may end up pulling to survive, but it does strike me as rather ironic that the statelet you invoke as a present-day example of "pretty successful anarchism" (though if it matters the group's ideological basis is apparently properly described as "libertarian socialism" or somesuch) essentially exists at the sufferance of a certifiably unpleasant Third World tinpot dictatorship (which for extra irony it at least theoretically opposes) and People's Republic of Putinistan - and should it survive in the longer run it'll nigh certainly be as a part of a Russian client state.

I think a good general rule for questions like this is that either a) nobody on staff really likes such content, or b) the content is likely to be controversial. In the case of manga stuffs, I know we have that one furry series, which I distinctly recall being a notable exception (for quality or something). In the case of images, barring life-threatening action, drpepperfan uploads those exclusively. So it's basically down to his preferences, or whatever he perceives the preferences of the audience to be.

Personally I have no investment in furry stuffs one way or another, but I could also tell you that we receive very limited upload requests for such material. Yet another reason it's lacking, I suppose. Also, great pic! (Edit: Though, we did once receive something truly amazing in the upload requests that has likely been lost to history by now. If I find it, I'll definitely share!)

@Rye, remember when you used to push me to post birthday batches and spam me with possible images? At this point there's too many birthdays so it's totally infeasible, but I kinda miss that! Sorry for falling off a cliff and unceremoniously killing it off ^^;

Probably a couple of reasons. One is the fact that in my experience, good yuri in the furry community is like hen's teeth -- exceedingly rare. Oh, you can find loads and loads and LOADS of gay stuff, and het stuff too, unsurprising given that the community is loaded to the gills with gay and bisexual dudes. Which is cool that they've got an accepting community given bisexual men in general don't get a lot of respect elsewhere. There's also the "herm" stuff (we'd call it futa here) but that tends to be even more penis-focused than the Japanese stuff, if you can imagine that.

Another is that the yuri translation community generally has a pretty tight association with chan boards, and their relationships with furries has historically been...tense. I mean that's where stuff like furfag comes from, so I expect there's little interest to bridge that gap.

Not to mention, most of the better fur artists have their own places to host their stuff, so they wouldn't have much motivation to put it here too. Given the response to stuff that's even almost furry, Mofu Kano notwithstanding, I imagine most potential uploaders don't see it as worth the bother.

Happens EVERY single time, doesn't it? I wish those websites would clean the yuri tag and just use bisexual. I think Ehentai got better with that, but I haven't visted it in a while, I just go to pixiv or Nhentai if I want doujin.
Anyway! Non hentai furry yuri is super rare, the only things I've found is some Sonic stuff like Cream x Blaze which I shared a while back but then again I don't actively search for furry because it IS mostly yaoi.

For me there's is a very thin, delicate line between monster girls and furry. I'm obviously not into animals, so to me it's more about human girl with some animal/whatever features. If she looks more animal than human, that's when my lady boner I'm starting to have harder time getting into them Carrot is adorable though. So for me at least it's simply matter of personal preference.

Well, I am subscribed, and watched most (but not by any means all) videos, especially the more recent ones, so I guess somewhere in between? I was only first introduced to Thought Slime by watching Non-Compete, albeit I never bothered watching videos longer than an hour there (not that I've watched all of the other videos there, but I still took at least one look at most videos there too). Similar situations are there also for some of the other BreadTubers, like Shaun or Innuendo Studios. Back in August, whilst my parents, brother and I were on vacation in Njivice, I also went on to watch a few Contrapoints videos, but, for whatever reason, it never occured to me to pick that up again (until literally while writing this post, that is).
