No,t quite, it's the sex scene that was unnecessary. She could talkto the Sensei normally. Why doesthe sex scene had to do with anything ? Also good old "you should date a boy" .

Hamao is a hentai mangaka, when you see their artist names you should expect porn, not sweet, touching, girls love. This is actually pretty tame really (no water-sports, orgy, phallic obsession, etc).

Nice art, but yeah, could have done without the sex scene.

Uuughhh when yuri don't got a good ending it just kills me~~ especially if its trying to force the character to become straight near the end

That kind of felt like it was it was neither a one shot nor a proper lead in to a series - at least to me anyway.

Oh well, it's Hamao, I really like their art, but yeah, the sex scene here is really unnecessary. A kiss would suffice for the plot point, but I guess they needed to utilise their reputation to boost sale at the Comiket.

Recently at C97 Hamao also published a yuri story (non-h this time, surprisingly, though there's still nudity) called "Past", but so far it doesn't seem like any scanlator picked it up.

My attempt at explaining: the middleschooler MC, Rui, has been developing romantic attraction for Reina, ever since Reina transfered to her class in elementary school. But Rui has yet come to term with the posibility of dating someone of the same sex (she's still very young), so she has been stewing the confusion in her head, and the occasional confessions Rui received from girls get rejected due to that confusion, too. One day Reina start dating a boy, thus Rui is sad and goes to sensei, whom Rui knows to be lesbian, for counseling. They have sex and talk, Rui comes to term with her sexual orientation and that she wants to be with Reina.

The next day, the girl, whose confession got rejected by Rui previously, makes another attempt. Rui ponders giving her a chance, though she looks at Reina and says "just kidding". What this means is up to the readers' own interpretation.

I thought the sex scene felt fine. Kind of an emotional release for the poor girl.
I just didn't care much for her apparently giving up on the new girl and still pining for her princess at the end.

Thats actually really annoying to learn. As a oneshot you could interpret this all sorts of ways and even if the sex in the middle's a bit unnecessary at least you could read something potentially hopeful and maybe even cute in the end, or at least find the main character's struggles interesting. With the context it just comes across as some needless angst about a girl who unfortunately has feelings for someone who'd rather have sex with a prepubescent boy than consider a same-sex relationship. Yikes.

This feels like it was hacked together out of several different, independent parts of which some dont even belong in a decent yuri story let alone a yuri story at all. It's like they lumped together several bad and cliche tropes, half-assed their implementations and inserted an pointless sex scene

Too bad there isnt an 'everybody is stupid' tag on dynasty. This would be a prime fit for it.

This is too short. It is nice that the story plays out in such a short manga, but it would be great if we get a continuation seeing there's a lot of stuff that can be explained and extended upon.
