Somewhere in the voluminous LLSIP canon they mentioned a couple of times that Nico is great at UFO catchers (crane games). And this mangaka remembered that! Good work.

wow, this is super good. the awkwardness is tangible every time these two interact, which i think is great - both of them being dishonest with their feelings and all. plus, kanabayashi makoto's great at doing the whole "kiss-and-then-play-it-off-as-a-joke" thing which just adds to all that stupidity. ah, young love

I love how Makoto added the School Idol Diary (not the manga) detail that Nico's father is dead.
I love it when people use that bit of non-anime touched canon and use it to drop into the anime's canon..

This author is my fave when it comes to Nozomi x Nico, I hope the sequel isn't too far away to come.

this amount of angst is fitting for these two, who wall themselves off and have a really hard time letting anyone in. makes those moments when they open up to each other all the more satisfying : ) i can't wait to see how this one ends.

Mmm, I'm always up for some good NozoNico, and this is definitely it. The two of them compliment each other very well, what with Nozomi's ability to deflect or counter Nico's over the top aggressiveness, and Nico's underlying nurturing nature filling the gaps of long-neglected Nozomi. It's a good pairing.
