I think it's implying that Nico loved Nozomi before but now that relationship is over hence Nozomi looking sad at the end as Nico and Maki get together.

Don't expect to see chapter 41 translated since it doesn't exist and chapter 40 came out in magazines years ago.

It's actually just 5 chapters. The chapter you see on Dynasty is half of a chapter.
That chapter will need to be redone with the volume raws.

Second Season of Spring Coloured Valentine will be done eventually. It will be the next project.

that was Maki, not Rin. Rin calls Hanayo ‘kayo-chin’ in every depiction of LL. with Maki, she only uses chan-honorifics with Nico in the anime, but in other depictions she uses it with everyone. (Nico doesn’t use honorifics with anyone in the anime, but in other depictions she even uses cutesy names like Makki and Elichi)

I think that might be a typo. I'll check and fix it if that's the case. Thanks for pointing it out.

Edit: Nope, Rin does say Hanayo-chan. I surprised since she would always say Kayo-chin so I'm thinking this is the manga artists mistake but I'll leave it as Hanayo-chan.

And anime too for NicoMaki. You might not see it but it's pretty blatant for most others.
From the top of my head S1 for many people they were shipped because people enjoyed their >interactions with one another and S2 pushed them very much more.

In the final of the first season, when Honoka give up with idols, Maki did the same. She didn't support Nico with her new band. She just returned to the piano. So yeah, I not see it.

NicoMaki is clearly seen in the anime. I'm not going say it's canon as opposed to being pushed.
The girls had their reasons to leave but once you go into Season 2 does NicoMaki get pandered plenty.
Not that it didn't stop newcomers to the series to ship them in the first season and it was teased with Kotori serving them a single drink for two for Nico and Maki.

I feel the same way. For Kotori Honker is most close person, so why KotoUmi?

The various media have different continuities, but the anime does pretty strongly hint that Umi has a thing for Kotori(who in turn is hinted at having a thing for Honoka, who in turn is explicitly established as having a thing for bread). Given that Honks is easily the least likely to enter a relationship(she's dense enough that she'd misunderstand anything short of being Frenched - and even then she might not get it), pairing them together makes sense.

This is as ridiculous as NikoMaki in anime.

It's not ridiculous. Even I'm aware how close NicoMaki was in the anime hence those two being one of the most if not most popular ship and they were teased together very often.

I now thinnk Nico and Maki are equals. Maki often cuddles Nico, because she is bigger, but there is, for instance, the infamous group shot where Nico boldly puts her hand up Maki's bare thigh. And Nico tends to initiate NicoMaki hugs.

Also it's a pity there's so little Sunshine x SIP doujins. I think a YoshiNico pair would be cute until they strangled each other (first date).
