Shinchou Yuusha (where they tried to copy the charm of Aqua from Konosuba but fail terribly) finishing the first chapter was like a chore and the only interesting part came at the end imo ... But... I didn't laugh not even once so it just doesnt' work for me. The other has a wrestler fighter as protagonist, I haven't watched this but my friends already dislike and I trust them and I wasn't even going to give it a chance anyway.

The third one is probably the girl who likes book, right? haven't watch one yet, could be too slow for my liking..........AH! there's also one with a super OP girl protagonist! "Didn't I tell you to make my abilities average?!" or something. I want to watch that XP it hasn't aired yet but it looks full of hard subtext

I started to watch Houkago Saikoro Club and yea, I like shy girl and Aya's logic and enthusiasm is funny, but that crying scene really felt weird and unnatural. I mean getting teary was ok, but squatting and crying like helpless child felt out of place.

I read what was available from manga for "Average" girl and it was ok, though i didn't feel like waiting for more. Maybe I'll give anime a shot. I didn't really like some of storytelling choices in it.

EDIT/ Rotfl i read first 3 chapters of Houkago Saikoro Club long ago and totally forgot about it. It didn't click until they followed class rep to secret dice club. I either planned to read it later, but never got to it or read what was available at the time and never checked again.

Yeah, there's five isekai series this season. Choyoyu is the super-generic power fantasy, Shinchou Yuusha and Kemono Michi are both KonoSuba-likes, NouKin is CGDCT, and the book one is something entirely different

A bit of the anime is already out, and it's pretty unlike the source material. I feel like fondness for the anime is going to be unrelated to fondness for the books or manga

Azur Lane is... alright. Kind of erratic in both storytelling and animation. Does have some potential yuri in the form of Kaga appearing to be in love with Akagi

NullPeta is decent. Animation could be better and I don't think there'll be yuri, but it's funny

If they really removed the self insert captain from Azur lane, Kaga is not the only one with potential for yuri, for example

Null Peta was WTF I'm watching for me, but at least episodes are short.

I can see why few scenes in Hataage! Kemono Michi could made 1 uncomfortable, but outside of that it actually got few good laughs out of me, so I think I'll keep watching it for the time being.

Yea, was just going to post that. Animation is really good as well, if you ignore occasional CGI crowds (seriously, I get that it's easier, but don't be so freaking lazy with it).

Unlike sequel, which pretty much was forced to keep status quo, movies are directed by original staff (in fact that's the reason season 2 was made by different staff, because they were busy with the movie) so I think it should be safe to watch.

The first movie came out in 2016 in BD and then 3 movies called case 1,2,3 early this year and just recently released in bluray. I need to watch them too before jumping to s3, maybe it would explain why Akane doesn't appear in the trailer of the third season

For those 3 new ones it makes more sense. Of course they would only be translated now if they came out this year. Guess I'll be watching Case 1 soon then.

Houkago Saikoro It was fun! I was drawn by the protagonist who at first I thought it would be Aya! the happy girl instead... I really like this blue girl and her Kyoto accent but I can't say the same about her habit of crying so easily- That aside...... HANDHOLDING IN THE FIRST CHAPTER that's too much!! lo/ as for Aya, I'm just surprised they didn't exploit the fact that she was going commando the whole episode and then we have the tsundere serious girl and the shop manager, all kind characters in their own way... Hmm! I will like this X) but I can't imagine it selling 5k BDs xP

Ah, guess you're right, since the anime's already airing.

The manga normally makes the MCs play one game every chapter, so I'm guessing that the anime will follow the manga and have a game-of the-episode format. The Werewolf Game chapter will prolly be left for the end because it's great for a grand finale, hehe. You see, it's the first game they play that has a role-playing element: there are 12 players (the MCs plus a bunch of regular customers of the game shop), everyone plays a villager in a medieval town, but two of them are secretly werewolves who must be unmasked and executed before they kill everyone else. The way to discover the werewolves is through roleplaying (talking, interrogating each other, etc.) so most of the story is shown as it's supposed to happen in the fictional world -- with everyone dressed as their characters, living their lives in that village and acting their roles as assigned. It all turns out very subtexty, especially the conclusion. <3

Not surprising: there's plenty of subtext in the story as a whole, not just in that one chapter! You can't really call it yuri... but it is teasy subtext, and there's a lot of it! And I don't mean just MCs like Miki and Aya, secondary characters too! Look at Maki and Hana...

That's from the time when they played Incan Gold. I wonder if they will include it in the anime? It's Maki's first appearance, after all...

it will probably be like the usual, censored while airing and then not long later there will be a non censored release

I've confirmed just now, the Horriblesub release is censored, so better wait for another version that uses ATX

Also I just found ZX Code Reunion which seems to be an spin off of a card battle anime but this time is just girl x girl x girl x girl action :D yayyy not sure about story or animation but........GIRLS JUSTICE

Even if it was uncensored, I don't think Jet Girls would be worth watching. It's too ugly for the fanservice to be worthwhile, and too boring to watch for anything else

Code Reunion seems alright, though. Not great, but not boring, and the main character is clearly attracted to her partner
