Just watched this weeks episode. I am still struck how (unintentionally) cruel Touko is but it seems we might end the season with Aquarium date.

Best episode yet. So intimate and uncomfortably ambivalent at the same time. Plus Touko aiming for Yuu's lap was hilarious.

Everything in this episode was so good that the vocabularies of all languages I speak (whether fluently or just a few words) combined lack words for me to describe it.

EDIT: Is it just me, or did I actually manage to make a post that was nerdy and touching at the same time? (thinking emoji)

Anyway that bedroom scene was… Wow… I don't think I've ever seen an anime use silence as effectively as this one. You could feel both the sexiness and the sheer pressure Touko was putting on Yuu… the vocal performances were particularly amazing in this ep.

It's been established everywhere weeks ago that it has 13 episodes. I was also surprised at first, because the promotion said 12, but alas, this is a good thing.

I know right? The episode 12 definitely lived up with the title- Suddenly Suffocating. I can feel the tense and intimacy hanging in the air. The silence was so effective that I felt like breathless watching the scene. The storyboard is so well done, incredible I say. I have no words to say anymore. It’s the best episode for me. The VA's performances are excellent as usual. Tokou's voice can give creep. No wonder Yuu's shivering.

I had no idea how they would handle the speech bubble cutting off the thoughts, but they just didn't. Which is fine, we all know what she thought!

It was a subbing mistake. The anime did adapt the bubble cut by having Yuu saying "baka" over "suki." I asked HiDive to change the sub & they said they'll send the recommendation to their TL & subtitling team. I'm sure Asenshi will have the sub right.

Also, the bed scene is amazing.

Which kinda makes sense, due to the fact that the word was merely cut off in the manga, meaning you needed to at least know what is implied, but that's like almost impossible to do with thoughts and words coming out at the same time.

The bedroom scene was top-notch. I actually didn't remember from the manga that Touko kissed Yuu while on top of her, and just before "threatening" her.

I've rewatched that scene a couple of times to confirm & even with headphones on, I don't hear "suki." Kusunoki confirms that it was concealed in the anime so idk what you mean there unless my hearing really sucks.

This is so sad... So if you want to success in sells you have to make it about idols, but what's the problem with idols? they can't fall in love(for real) so no yuri.
But really, I was expecting around 4000 to 6000

Eh, with it being yuri and the current state of physical BD sales, 4-6k is pretty unrealistic. It did well, better than most yuri that came out within the last decade (& a lot of anime that come out nowadays), but not as well as we would have hoped, really. Though, that is only a 3-day figure (YagaKimi BD came out on a Friday). It can still hit 4k by the end of this week, though don't have too much hope.
