I agree with the OP here. I love undercut hair styles but the way the mangaka drew it just makes it look weird. The shaved part is weirdly in the middle of head and not my the bottom where it's supposed to be. If you tried this hair style on an real person then you'd end up with the ugly baby of an undercut and a mullet.

One of the things I really like about Fusoroi is the reversal of maturity levels between Minabi and Iori. Even though Minabi is ten years younger, she's the more responsible one. Interestingly enough, there's a study that just came out that finds "elevated empathy in adults following childhood trauma" (https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0203886). I think that the best characters are those drawn from reality, so maybe this is why I love this series so much.

As a general rule of thumb those who have suffered greatly either become kind or cruel as a result of the experience. There isn't much in between. Nobody gets to walk away without scars, but perhaps we get to choose how we carry them.

Iori's sister is in first year of high school apparently (based on her conversation with Shizuku's the deliquent). Shizuku repeat a year, but does not look like she is younger than Minami much. So my question is... did Shizuku repeat classes a lot of time , or is Minami even younger than the given 18?

And why Iori thought that it was a crime if she is in a relationship with an 18 years old girl?

It's not the relationship part, it's the "take her home to live with me" part that could be trouble.

As Minami herself said in a later strip: if she goes to the police and claims that Iori abducted her and forced her to stay against her will, since she's a minor Iori would be instantly guilty no questions asked.

Trying to guess peoples' exact age around that age based on looks is kind of a losing proposition given wide differences in personal growth rates and appearances , just sayin'. A friend of mine was so baby-faced he could get away with buying children's tickets into a lot of places until he was around twenty for ex (the flipside being predictable need to present ID to bouncers and store clerks...).

More practically given her circumstances Shizuku probably hasn't been in the education system quite according to the standard schedule in the first place.
