If Al's a full blooded human because she was born from a magically pregnant human, then shouldn't Rem be a full blooded elf and not a half elf by the same logic?

I think maybe Rem is half elf and half magical, Al is half human and half magical, that's why Rem has smaller ears than the other elves and made Al more cat (elves are more magical beings than humans) whereas Al maybe only be able to do some basic magic like posions.
P.S. This is just a theory/hunch.
