Yes, that is the literal word used in the original. The "con" part of these things don't directly have sexual connotations like lolicon and shotacon, and are generally used with the respective familial terminology to represent excessive clinginess (eg. someone's who a fathercon is very doting on their father, but doesn't neccessarily wanna do anything uncouth)
Ah thanks for the precision! I don't really know this kind of terms in English, but it looks closer to being a mom's girl/son.
So the mother isn't fully aware of her daughter's (true) sentiments, nor is Mori. However, both Mori and her mother seemed to have some kind of intuition about Asuka's feelings. I'm now confused, maybe for nothing.
