Guys I'm losing it here. It wouldn't be so bad if she was in one class of mine but no, she's in all my classes. I can't escape her. Kill me.

I experienced that a lot in middle/high school too, and I always failed to find a way out of that.

Yeah, you get a lot of team drivers who are couples out here. Lotta married couples. Good way to make money if you can both drive. And even if you can't, it's still common as you say to have a rider along. My company allows for one passenger, and a lot of guys I work with bring their non-driving wives along. Also a couple of women who bring their non-driving husbands along. Definitely alleviates the lonlieness.

I'm an introvert, though. There's literally no human being in the world I want to spend 24 hours a day with in a 6-by-6-foot box for weeks at a time. I can tell you from experience that 10 days of that is about my limit.

Since it's relevant to the discussion I will say I never fail to be impressed how thoughtful about the horrors of combat so many of the erotic stories based on a ship-fetishistic game tend to be. I'm always surprised at how great so many Kantai Collection works are out there, since it's not a thing that ever seemed to sell itself on emotional depth.

Kitakami no Ichiban Nagai Hi turned me into an emotional wreck for a solid day. After I read it, took me about 10 minutes before I could get my shit together. And then afterwards, even thinking about it would get the waterworks flowing again. I posted it to /r/hentai over on Reddit, and I was sniffling and snuffling the whole time I was uploading and arranging it in the proper order.

Like I said in the comments for it, it's Nicholas Sparks for pervs. Why do I like porn that's super hot and that also makes me cry? I dunno. Romance and sex are bound together a lot tighter in my brain than I think it is for a lot of people. (For example, I think From Now On, Together With Senpai is a very sweet and romantic yuri, and I suspect that's not a common reading.)

Long time no see. I feel like yuri's taking a toll on me since every time I see any friends of mine who are girls getting buddy buddy with each other, I immediately get reminded of it. I wonder if this is good or bad...

i went from watching anime to watching serial killer documentaries.............

I think that's slightly better than finding yourself looking at generic internet stuff... Depending on what kind of stuff that is.

Well isn't the more efficient solution, to get rid of source of your problems rather than killing yourself? I thought it was helpful ;P

It was two weeks for me, then we took a cube van to Nova Scotia (itself kind of an odyssey) and packed up my old apartment, then came back with a couple of side trips.

I know there are people who retire from other work, sell their house to buy a high-end truck, then do long-haul as a way to see the country/continent.

I guess you're right in a way :p I still find the person's actions to be rather endearing for some reason.

And here's a fun activity, the TERA drinking game (with any drink you like),

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzaLsTyyg6l5fbE15oOt08mykxvTODxAU

Rules:

  • Take a drink everytime this guy points something out about the chara armours/lack of immersion in the game.
  • Take 2 drinks everytime this guy points out that he feels uncomfortable over seeing an Elin, 3 when he calls them out.
  • Take a sip everytime the guy whines about something in the game.

Bonus round:
- Take 4 drinks everytime this guy rages about the questing in TERA.

Have fun ^ O ^ though I doubt anyone would play it.

@Galich

Having talked to most of people on my degree, I can confirm that all but 2 people are just there for the money, which is fine and all.. after all, it was even my motivation to begin with. However, the more I talk to them, the more I notice that 1. In spite of my initial motivation I'm much different from them and 2. the idea of studying something I'm not found of and getting a job I;d hate in the future just for the financial reasons seems much less appealing..

:D Personally, I do not pay attention to the reason on why anyone decides to choose their study/job, whether it's just for money or not. I'm more interested in their performances. If they could do well in uni despite studying things they are not fond of, if they could do their job excellently despite it's a job they hate, I would say they are commendable.

@oliver Well, it's not a dealbreaker for me. However, very often it comes with an attitude not worth mentioning.

I worded that badly, sounded like I was bashing on everyone wanting to get a decent living through a degree. Had a rather day, my bad.

At the end of the day, it's the attitude towards the others and the performance that counts. I don't care about anyone's reasoning as long as they're not complete asshats.

That, and turns out that this uni ditches almost completly history/culture on language studies in huge favour of knowing the language as good as possible.. which is fine and all, but I'd say that studying a language of foreign people should come with the right knowledge about their heritage.

Idk, but I think chinese history is pretty cool, it's not boring at all.

So I think, that's why I mourn over the fact that it's almost completly missing from the degree. A huge history buff after all.

And here's a fun activity, the TERA drinking game (with any drink you like),

@Rina I wouldn't dare to even try it with water, would probably puke. Or explode like a baloon. Or both.

Also, got forced into signing to a psychologist by some of my friends because not enjoying a "dream" degree is apparently a /sarcasm on clear sign /sarcasm off that I need to be talked out of the "delusion" of being transgender.

I don't think I had this crappy of a week in a while.

Since you liked From now on, together with sempai you will may enjoy our beloved John K Peta's works.

Well, I gave it a whirl, but had to nope out on the anal fisting and womb extrusion. Say what you will about Together With Senpai, but the sex was pretty vanilla. There was just an alarming amount of it.

Appreciate the recommendation, though.

It was a joke, mister K Peta's works are .. specials.
If you're looking for good NSFW yuri here, I strongly recommend you the following manga :

There are countless NFSW yuri here, so you have some hours of reading ahead anyway. I'd suggest you to avoid SOFTCHARM and to read comments before reading something suspicious; like an ebifly's work. (don't read this crap).

Edit : Agreed, Nez's list is relevant and complete too. The ones above are really good and worth-reading though.

@Alvis

I feel bad for you, good luck to deal with this pain in the neck, especially if she'll be with you in all your classes for one entire year. Being blunt or savage is not a good idea, but I believe there are some soft ways to ask her to go fuck herself. Or simply to try being less of a nuisance ^^

I'm so sorry... :( I know that kind of people very well... we had almost the same case in our group, that impertinent girl took advantage of the kindness of others and actually managed to graduate. She was insolent enough to even offer money once if someone agreed to make her project, which is insulting and unfair.
I woder what such people are doing in Uni if they are not interested in studying...
Be strong!

Do keep in mind that this is geared to my taste, so there may be stuff you like that I didn't include. But for a starter, I'm guessing that 662 chapters and 64 groupings will keep you busy for a couple of days.

Welp, finally managed to break my dry spell and got a new story finished and uploaded. So here, you are.

How the Goddess Was Saved

Hope you like it.

Thank you! I do like your romantic tale^^ especially in the end, when her dead body gets devoured by the rats, it's kind of beautiful.
I haven't heard the names of the gods before - are they fictional as well?

Yup. All the names are kind of a blend of Babylonian and stuff surrounding the El Dorado legends.

@Alvis Sucks to hear that.. it's all about those people that don't know what they're doing at the uni.. I'd say that acting a bit colder yet polite would be a good course of action. Then again, I can imagine someone tearing up to be quite hard to ignore.

Not particularly, no.
Looks around Sorry, looks like my sense of humour has gotten away. It knows better than me I guess.

In all seriousness tho., the thought of discarding people you knew for ages isn't something I'm up with. This may sound like a paradox, but they've shown support. Just the support for that cause is a different story.

I mean sure, my identity doesn't help my mental state, but I can hardly imagine it helping any of my problems.. unless I'd get different antidepressants.

Now that I think about it, it would be pretty nice.

I normally try to avoid talking about such stuff, but figured that I'd make an exception. Even heard the eternal "you know it's considered to be a mental sickness, right?". After 4 years of knowing them. Not gonna lie, it was far from jolly.

@Blackkitty So I think.. but in all honesty, everything just seems to be so badly timed.. a survival, yes, but feeling like a one with half of her body blown off :P

Thanks older sister ^.^ Your onee-chan powers help more than one might think! Really glad to have such a cool sister!

@Galich

I don't see the problem of abandoning your "friends" if they don't even accept who you are, abandonment is only the least of things you could do to them; like burning their bodies to crisp with an exquisitely sadistic charter, or sacrificing them to a misunderstood lurking fish god.

There is no point keeping the company of narrow-minded idiots who can't extend their fish-like brains to comprehend that ppl are different. Oh and, very nice of them to say that you being trans is a "delusion", I'm sure they must be in a delusion as well of seeing themselves as being something higher than scums, why else would they think their opinion actually matter?

Then again, thank you for reminding me why I'm glad I've no friends, at least I won't have to deal with the typical "it's only a delusion" BS that every LGBT person gets in their lives. But really, if you actually feel some sort of sentiment for those so-called "friends", I feel sorry for you; clearly your heart is good but you're showing kindness to the wrong ppl.
