This story is dark as soot.
I'm kinda scared now on what will happen next...

Whoa. This was incredible. Most interesting and well-written yuri story I've read in a long time, and fantastic artwork that matches the tone and unique setting perfectly. Instant new favorite for me. Of course it may all come to grief later; seems like it may be heading for a tragic or at least disillusioned ending, but for now, let me hope.

Thank you VERY much for this, Yuri Project.

I'm scared. The feeling of impeding doom is so strong, this can't end well. I sense a double-suicide or something.

I felt like I've read a novel. It was very western

Yep, yep. This. Absolutely this.

It was good, too.

Gosh that was great. Terrific translation job Yuri Project, thank you.

It seems this volume is a collection of stories with 2 chapters designated to "Walk Wit Me" so yes there is a continuation, which is exciting but also worrisome with the heavy foreshadowing of a double suicide.

Yeah but Russia is to the west of Britian...

Except for the part where it's to the east of Britain.

At the very least, I think the main character is from England. "Muddy Marly" is one of the most terribly British nicknames I've ever heard.

I actually thought Marly was some sort of supernatural creature until the actual dad showed up.

Both statements are true - just a difference in distance.

As someone who grew up in the coal part of Ohio, it kinda struck a chord with me.

I'm with everyone else, I'm expecting the other shoe to drop in part 2, like Marly's a ghost, or Wendy will leave her, or this is all a fever dream.

It's neat how different the adults look compared to the kids, they look a lot more "realistic."

I really like the art. It adds to the depressing setting and feel. It also makes everything feel kinda ominous. Like everyone else, I'm worried about what's gonna happen to the two of them. There's so much talk of death that there's almost no way that this will end well.

After reading, I feel like buying a copy of this manga and just flew to Japan, just to get the author sign it!
Also, kudos to Yuri Project for translating this wonderful piece.
