I feel Sofia needs another arc focused on her for a "Sofia end" to feel justified. She unfortunately has to share her one and only arc with getting the series premise across to the readers. Meanwhile, Olivia seems to get more focus and screen time, as it seems she gets more "moments" sprinkled throughout the series, even outside of her arc. Sofia, on the other hand (at least to me), seems to flip flop between being 100% for a polycule, and being a little melancholic about not being the sole focus of Machino. Seriously, reread some of her conversations with Olivia and she ends up saying something along the lines of "Really! I love Machino too, isn't that great!"

I wanted to say several smart things but other peeps here have said them better already on the last page, so I'll just leave you with this well-thought out and eloquent statement: Olivia best girl.

Well I’m glad that they are having her actually choose a girl to be with because I hate when it ends with either her having like 4 girlfriends or it ends with them staying in the same situation where they all are competing for her affection. It reminds me of another that recently ended. I forgot what it’s called but it’s a blonde girl that is helping someone else because she’s her “slave” to get with her short friend but she likes the blonde girl, then a girl with glasses kinda just pops up and she also likes the short girl but has given up and it ends with them being in some kind of messy love square or something?

FR. Like it feels like the author has more of a direction for Olivia? Maybe they like her more idk... but it shows. Sophia's kinda just... there.

WDYM THE PRINCESS'S GONNA WIN, WHERE'S THE TWIST

The author shows us all these flavors we could have in any combination and slowly reveals we're only allowed vanilla.

Feels like it's going to end with Sofia needing to return to being a princess and giving up her spot to Olivia. Something about being too selfish.

I keep forgetting that Olivia is taller than Sofia. her proportions makes her look smol until she's standing next to another character.

From a personal bias, I like Olivia more, however, thinking about Machino's perspective, Sofia asks more questions about Machino and her childhood, her thoughts, her fears, her wants. She gives Machino choices like Machino giving Sofia choices when she first arrived. Meanwhile, everyone else's arc seems to center around themselves, including Olivia, who talks about their promise, her magic and her fear of the dark.

HOWEVER, I reeeeeally wanted Olivia ;_; I kinda wanted to subvert the "first love interest is the last love interest", it would've been great if Olivia, despite not being the first person Machino saw, was the one she really liked all along (sobbing), however, just from the way it was written and drawn, it was obviously going to be Sofia, and I'm not that mad about it, I'm just a little sad.

If it turns to be Olivia in the end, after all, this thread is gonna explode. :3
