nah i get having hope, but that is not the formula, some harem ends ambiguosly but still “I am dating this girl, but these girls still love me, fight for my love and I let myself be spoiled by them”

contrary to popular belief, a good number of het harem novels end in polygamy, with the girls also developing feelings between them

I think it's just her realizing the love she has for Sofia is romantic love, while the love she has for Olivia is platonic love. Like she still "loves" all the girls from the game, but can now differentiate between the different kinds of love and acknowledges that even platonic love is still a "precious love".

As an adult Olivia looks even better for saying she found other things that mattered to her besides Machino. Like, that's ideal in a partner! You don't want to be codependent at the expense of everything else.

If next chapter is the last there is no way this has a satisfying conclusion. What a disappointment.

I've read a lot of harem stories where different members are popular which usually means the author has done a good job of showing why their attractive, or a bad job at distinguishing them. Maybe the Sophia fans aren't commenting, but damn it feels overwhelmingly Olivia favored. That kinda makes it seem like the author hasn't done their job well.
