Happy that this chapter maintained the same vibe as Chapter 1. It's really leaning into their nostalgia and innocent desires to go back to how they were before they entered the adult world, and it just makes for a cozy if slightly sad read when you compare it to your own reality. Even moreso since this can't last forever.

The looming "Didn't we agree...?" sent me, top energy if I've ever seen it.

i might just be still scarred from "throw away the suit..." but this somehow fills me with dread

I love the faces they make.

I absolutely loved it, ik some people felt deceived by the ending but imo it was thematically fitting and didn't felt inconsistent with the story. Author was clearly aiming for a specific vibe with this manga and executed it well.

I would absolutely hate to see the ending being turn into a trope tho.

I really liked it and it's one of my favorite mangas of all time and yet I haven't reread it once. While the fact that the manga got axed and thr author had to rush the story, and the ending itself was sad and depressing, I liked how real it was and didn't sugarcoat their situation and presentedba realistic outcome to their "adventure". But ehat I liked the most about the manga was that despite the ending being sad, they were still together in the end which just showed how strong it was and that they were optimistic about the prospect of finding their happiness in the future.

Escapist works are nice and it's ok that people want to read stuff to escape the hell we live in but realistic and grounded works like Throw Away the Suit Together have their place as well because not every story needs to be escapist feel-good fantasy.
