the issue is less about the consent of sex itself (because, unless we go down a dark path, it will always be consensual between them),

Sometimes readers seem to be devoted to finding dark paths.

More than sometimes, but yeah.

Aya's not actually jealous of her little brother, she's annoyed with him. Her little brother crushing on her girlfriend is annoying, jealousy doesn't have to factor into it.

Yeah just sibling bullshittery. The look he gave was hilarious.

The western dad rock is bad enough, but ipods and vinyl? This is child abuse.

If there's one thing this work has an underlying theme, it's about how having a cool uncle/aunt can shape a child's interests. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating, but the twins clearly look up to their not-official-yet aunt Mitsuki.

good lord the heads on aya's brothers do not fit them

Are these Aya's little siblings? Is Aya getting jealous of her own sib?

I think Aya’s lil brother looks a bit like the girl she is jealous of in one frame; similar hair at least, maybe a stretch.

Y'all, it's confirmed! The green yuri is coming out next January (2027), so it's officially part of the winter anime season. I genuinely can't wait!!!

By the looks of it, it seems the adaptation will have the characters in their natural colors, while the black background looking at the teaser will likely be the iconic green.

I watched the interview, and from the looks of it, Arai Sumiko was the interviewer. He even complimented her taste in music! She must've been so happy to interview Dave Grohl and talk about her masterpiece. I'm really proud of her. ^_^

I really like these family moments with Aya. Seeing how she takes care of her siblings, and how much they care about her in return.

This chapter also does a good job of showing that Aya and Mitsuki not only still obviously care about each other a lot, but their relationship still works really well. Their fight doesn't have to be a relationship ending one.

Lovely chapter, especially the final panels. While Aya looks away Mitsuki blushes, fixated on her face and while Mitsuki is flustered, Aya adoringly stares back. Good visual metaphor for the tone of the recent chapters and their connection being there regardless of whether they're on the same page. Can't wait for the anime too! Also, can't forget the princess carry!

Yeah the wider cast is great when they get sprinkled in for chapters like this.

Art is beautiful, but I'm connecting less and less with Sumiko's storytelling. The 4 page format is dofficult and fit pre time skip so well, but now it's just frustrating to me with the whole "serious drama chapter" that makes you abxious on how they're going to fox or tackle the issue to the "slice of life with fluff and hope and shows they still care for each other" I know they do, I just want to see them communicate or more development.

I know this was talked enough and don't wanna bring discourse or fight with anyone, I'm not saying this is a good or a bad way to write, just wanted to ket out some frustrations with a series I've been following since day 1. I'm just more attuned to HDWR and other series that had different pacing.

Ok first I also want to say I don’t have any problem with the pacing, as I said before I read this like a newspaper comic, to the point I forgot it existence until new chapter drops.
But what you said can be another of the reasons why so many people feel ??? with this new arc, the first one (as I remember, so take it with a spoon of salt) didn’t have these “Happy, Sad, Happy, Sad” jumps, it was more ¿lineal? with the mood, I think

Either way, is a crime Arai didn’t show Mitsuki full outfit, it looks so cool, I wanted her to drop Aya just to see her in it
