Honestly, this seems kind of inevitable setup because it's just about two people who are deeply obsessed about each other. That's what takes some points away from my evaluation, because it's largely stakeless and coded in result.

Best cheating stories are ones with pressure, doubt, clouded motives, uncertainty of timing and so forth. Where you genuinely can't tell where they story will land even at midpoint in chapter 69.

Older girl is definitely more of a bitch. It'd be one thing to say, "since you still like me break up with your boyfriend and be with me instead" but she says "let's keep this our little secret" which means she doesn't take this seriously at all. She's gonna dump her again when she gets a new boyfriend.

After her relationship failed and her career isn't going well, having a cute girl so wrapped around her finger she'd cheat on her boyfriend with her is an intoxicating power trip. She doesn't want Mio to leave her boyfriend for her because it's more fun for her if it's an affair.

Guess Kashikaze got a bit tired of writing completely wholesome oneshots lol. It is cool to see her branch out into other types of stories. I'm not big on any toxicity in my romance, but Kashikaze just writes characters so well that I still enjoy her toxic stuff too. I wonder if she'll ever make a non-wholesome full series at some point.

Also this reminded me of that one Lonely Girl arc with Wakana. The one where she reunited with her childhood friend who had a boyfriend now. When reading that, I was a bit worried that the other girl would leave her boyfriend to be with Wakana (I don't think a breakup, even a het one, fits that series), so I was glad it resolved wholesomely. It's kind of interesting to see how that could've turned out differently.

Encouraging someone to cheat isn't exactly the most wholesome kind of behaviour but that last page was quite ominous. Seriously, why do her eyes look completely dead?

Break up with him. It does not maatter whether Seira is bi or gay. Stop the cheating unless you told the bf and he actually does not mind Seira having a parallel relationship, accepting her bisexuality.

not enough toxic vibes for me lol but even tho this author has written some "problematic" stuff in the past it all feels so vanilla still.
