i feel like the kyoko danganronpa execution gif after finishing volume 2 knowing there's only 6 chapters left, like dude this was developing to be a 30-40 chapter series maybe even more. this feeling of knowing it's going to be over soon while reading a series i love is genuinely one of the worst

the story did feel like it was going to continue for a bit, so i'm kinda sad it's axed like this. and that was...some way to end it too, but i'm just glad it's a happy ending

i immediately clicked back on the anthology, screaming and searching "is that the sequel? sequel? sequel? no!!!!!!!!!" soooo disappointed

i love this. i love all the characters, all their moments and interactions are just...perfect, so warm and just so f****** cute. i just know i'll revisit this very often

i don't think i've ever been this mad that a oneshot doesn't have a sequel. this was so good that i felt like i just finished reading an axed series, or a series with untranslated chapters. i'm so sad that there's not more, i neeeeeed moreeeee

yukiko and fuu were both so wishy-washy that i was prepared for a yukiko x konomi ending honestly. with konomi being the main character for the second half of the story, and for me the most interesting one, she deserved a better ending imo. i enjoyed following her backstory, her feelings as a succubus, her struggles with love, her feelings for yukiko, her giving up on the evil scheme, it was for me a way more compelling story to follow than the main couple's indecisiveness, and she ended up with nozomi (i don't even know how that could work lol). seeing her ending up with another girl or even going full harem mode would make way better closure for her story. or maybe i was rooting for konomi too much, maybe she's not meant to overtake the stage from yukiko and fuuko, idk, i think it'd be a while before i revisit this though despite the outstanding art it was so messy to follow

parasol girl being a real ghost would probably make this less confusing lol, idk about the translation but the story itself feels more like an unfinished idea tbh like can you really just end the story there....???
