Seriously? shit, I can't juggle all these games, gta v, magic, street fighter iv, shovel knight and now I get the urge to defend lanes again

I lovee dota but the competetive scene is it's undoing

Well, with custom games it's not so much about defending lanes anymore as it is about defending towers and playing Warlock. And I'm still waiting for that Final Fantasy RPG I played in Warcraft 3 to make its way over.

Sometimes I get the urge to play some actual games of Dota too, but then I remember the time I'd have to invest to get good again.

The only SF4 version I got is the 3ds version(aka broken version thanks to "lite controls") and I'm not a huge fan of 4, I prefer the alpha games.

I wanted to get into Moba games...well specifically LoL but it takes too much effort and I'm already putting that effort in Smash 4(and since I'm back to playing RPGs), same problem with fighting games tekken? 20+ lose streak on friendly local matches?!
¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
Hey MarvelousAQL has Mirai's eye-patch+hat combo? not to mention the pallet swaps? cool...I won't make fun of her impractical "ninja" outfit since she's a walking SK reference and I already made fun of that. Oh and Nipon Ichi(Nisa) is too good! I want her in more games along with her theme.

I need to take care of some things...so the odds of daily yuri for the next few days is low.

i needed a suggestion: i play on the pc, but i really like jrpg and FF tactics-like game, for example i'm interested in xenoblade, the new fire emblem (i'm an old fan), and the tale of serie,
i played persona 4 and final fantasy 10 on pc, but that's the limit of the emulator, then the question is what's the best console for those games? 3ds, ps or wii? it's best if it's portable because i can play at work, but it's not necessary, and if there are games better than the few i already know

Aaaand Hearthstone introduced a new set of cards. And new meta in Hearthstone basically translates into me paying money for packs again. Just after I got to the point of me being happy with my collection... :/

None are really bad. I mean Tales of.. seems to be strong on PS3 lately (might be PS Vita version but I didn't check) so I doubt we'll see much more for this Nintendo Consoles but if you are looking for a hand held the 3DS is probably best. It has at least Tales of the Abyss, aswell as Fire Emblem, Etrian Odyssey and some smaler titles. I don't think Wii has that much to offer outside of Xenoblade :X
But yeah in most cases I would go with PS3/PS Vita.. Hyperdimension Neptunia series, Tales of.. games, Disgaea(in a way), Atelier series, in a way Valkyria Chronicles series, (The Legend of Heroes for PSP might be out for PS Vita aswell) and others I just can't seem to remember right now.

Isn't the current meta basically "play a warrior with a couple of Grim Patrons"?

I agree on getting a DS for those kinds of games, quite a few of the Persona games are on there too. If it doesn't have to be a handheld, then the PC is probably your best bet,
For games like the FF tactics games, you might wanna check out XCOM, Frozen Synapse and Advance Wars. Advance Wars is like, really old though. And you may want to try some of the turn based roguelikes like Desktop Dungeons or Sword of the Stars: The Pit.
The Penny Arcade games and Cthulu Saves the World are not Japanese but pretty JRPG-ish, gameplay wise.

The current meta has quite a few viable decks. I'm mainly playing a Dragon Control Paladin now and I play against a lot of Handlocks (warlock abusing the card draw mechanic), Combo Rogues, Freeze and Mech Mages and a lot of Face Hunters. Grim patron can get pretty annoying though.

I watch a lot of Day [9]'s games where he just tools around with deck ideas. He's done some fun stuff, although I don't think he's ever hit Legend or anything. His milling decks are a riot though.

@Rye: well, 3rd strike is still unbeatable to me, but I have no means of actually playing that right now except for setting up ggpo with prayers accompanying and seriously, fuck that noise

@Luca: ps vita to get Tactics Ogre and Joan of Arc maybe for Tactics-like games? Also, you should have some of the ps1/psp library at your disposal on the go, I dunno if the selection is still shit like it was at the start, didn't touch my vita since I finished FF VII

Milling is a ton of fun, I played that myself for a while. It's really easy to win against as soon as you realize that the opponent is trying to mill though. Played against one a few days ago with this manacurve, so I couldn't really just dump my cards onto the field, but still won for example.
A really fun deck to play is Deathrattle Shaman. You're not gonna get into Legend with that either but if things go your way, they really go your way.

Still think the funniest line about Hearthstone was describing Animal Companion as "Summon a random Huffer".

I saw one streamer who made a deck with all RNG cards like those 50% miss chance Ogres and Bomb Lobbers and the like. Great fun, although hardly the path to Legend.

Something about Hearthstone makes it really fun to watch, more so than other card games. Certainly less dry than say, Magic.

I did a RNG deck with a mage once. Didn't even try to balance it, I just put everything in there that had something to do with me not being able to choose what's gonna happen like, those mechs that summon random minions when they die, Ragnaros and some Unstable Portals. Only played it 2 times but I totally won both. Best thing about those kinda decks is that the opponent has no idea what's going on.
I even have the legendary that gives every minion on the field a 50/50 chance of missing, so that was a lot of fun.

I think what's making hearthstone so fun is the balance of being really casual while still providing enough depth to make things skill/knowledge based.

thanks to asa, original and maus for the fast answers, i think i'll go for a second hand 3ds for now, on the pc i played pretty much all that was worth, the penny arcade's, chtulu save the world and the other old style, and masterpieces like Child of light, and tactical game aren't difficult to find, like xcom, banner saga ot divinity, but sometimes i miss the final fantasy atmosphere.
i tried FFXIII on pc... wtf, you can't pause the game during the fight! where are the classic turn-combat menu? i can't play it when i'm working! what a let down...
with the 3ds then i can play some Tale of... and fire emblem, but it's a pity for xenoblade, it seems great,
the first Legend of heroes is on steam too, and i loved it, it's that game that revived my love for the genre, i'm waiting for the other two (the cliffhanger with the pseudo-incest romance isn't right!), but, from what i know, they aren't traslated yet even for console.

wow Re:birth 1 that cursed sword reference was so necessary. Also why can't I hold all these characters?! seriously! with so many costumes the cash/material farming is gonna take forever...

Pokemon ORAS owners don't forget to pick up your free Diancie! available until july 27!

@lucamarte: on the vita also there's: digimon cyber sleuth + a few others like FFX+XII HD, on the wii there's: the last story and pandora's tower. You can do a quick search one Gamefaqs like this on each console and then looks for gameplay footage on youtube.

Sigh I'm glad Heartstone is doing well...I mean take look at the current meta in yugioh it's just a game of solitaire and if it's not? it's just the same 3 decks we've had for over a year! Konami plz...netdecking is killing the game...right now it's only fun against friends or trolls.

Got a Hearthstone quest to win 5 games with Mage so I'm using my Freeze Mage and man, those games are nerve wrecking. My win/loss ratio with the deck is pretty good but in nearly every game I win, I win with like 1 health left and right before I would be killed by my oponent in the next round.
Also just played my Grimm Warrior and got a 20/1 Frothing Berserker, that felt pretty good. Where is your Shadow Word: Death now?

^The last time I played Yu Gi Oh, people were still collecting Exodia parts.

So far away
Eternal spring over Elysium
Even if your surroundings are dark

[...]The tagline translates to "I wonder what sort of goodbye we'll have."[...]

[...]It seeks writers interested in utsuge (depressing games) with a "dignified" writing style and adept at portraying complicated emotions and appealing to the hearts of women in their late 20s to 40s.[...]

I'm the only one that's feeling really suspicious about that? Sounds a little like it's going to be class-s or not have yuri ending at all, just sad or depressing endings...

Exodia, chain burn and HEROes decks are immortal! they always adapt to the current game...it's kinda impressive actually.

...I'm not really interested in "depressing story lines" right now thanks to the disappointment that FE:If seems too be(story-wise)...but hey maybe it's not gonna be too bad.

Ok I beat re:birth 1 too fast XD hah...that was so fun, I'll just wait till black friday to get the other ones like I originally planned...well unless another random event/gift card happens again hehe. On another note, it feels so odd going back to smash after playing nothing but RPGs.

Btw when I mentioned FE:IFs plot I should've posted this as well, it's a nice summary...oh and spoilers obviously.

I couldn't find much, is Chika not popular? there's WAAAAY more Vert x Blanc/Nepgear.
