Is Strawberry Vinegar worth the buy in terms of length and yuri content (and food porn in this case I guess)? It's on sale for $2.49 right now, which is quite enticing... can anyone who actually read it tell me how it is?

Just to elaborate the story actually revolves around the main characters love for each other and there are multiple endings that decide how that plays out. It's a little bit like Romeo and Juliette but with actual lesbians. And the fate of the universe is at stake. No pressure.

Also has this strange mix of Persona elements with a straight up jazzy/hip-hop lite soundtrack, timed dungeon crawling segments at night, and slice of life stat boosting mini-games during the day, though the day time segments are presented in purely text akin to a VN.

All in all it's roughly similar to how Persona 3 Portable plays. Just with more lesbians.

I like Night of Azure more, but the both are good.
Now I have a lot of school assignment, so I can't play on PC, that takes too much time. New yuri VN coming out soon! Never heard of it before, but it sounds interesting enough and I can't complain about more yuri being localized. Let's hope it's a good one!

Well, for anyone who was somehow worried that Shadows of Pygmalion is going to be as tame(for a lack of a better word) as AoiShiro since they're both action yuri VNs: don't be, the demo alone is incredibly laden with yuri. Then again, it could be a case of all of the yuri being focused on these first moments and there would barely be anything after this.

For example, I did a spit-take with my tea when this dialogue was said in the demo; I did not expect her to say that:

Other than the yuri, pretty much everything else seems to be superior than Aoishiro. Production Values are pretty top-tier like their other work Tokyo Babel, soundtrack is good, apparently an all-star voice cast, and like Tokyo Babel this has an interesting premise.

Haven't been this impressed with a yuri VN for the longest time. It's probably because out of all the recent yuri VNs that I've played, this one felt closest to what traditional visual novels are like. To put it briefly, it feels like a visual novel with heavy yuri elements instead of a visual novel revolving around the yuri itself. I mean, off the top of my head, the recent big yuri VN releases all had stories that revolved around the yuri present in them: Kindreds, Flowers, Nurse, Sono Hanabira.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot that Ne No Kami was another action yuri VN that was released, and recently too. The demo alone of Pygmalion was better than that VN by a mile and I say that as one of the indiegogo backers of Ne No Kami.

SeaBed is very good, but also quite peculiar and might not appeal to everyone's tastes given how slow-paced and somewhat psychological it is. However it's 100% yuri so no worries there. I definitely recommend it and I'll read it again once it's translated.

Torment Tides of Numenera is so close! I can't wait to relive my experience playing Planescape again.

I don't play games often because the time slips away like nothing else. Last game I played was Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

No hype for Danganronpa v3. One of the few times I was glad I spoiled myself. That bait and switch with the female protagonist (and the entire cast actually) is pretty awful. I was afraid they were going to do that, but I was still hopeful.

An original and interesting story. Art might be meh for some but the story is really good and cute.

Many people might hate the art. But i find the art very simply yet attracting.

So I finally got around to play Brilliant Shadows and I have to say I'm positively surprised. The art for the most part is pretty good. Voice acting is really good imo, especially for main cast. Supporting one have good as well, though they tried to use every accent possible it seems. If I were to nitpick, Belinda's voice was a bit too squeaky, but you can get used to it. The story was actually pretty interesting as it was focused on solving a mystery and yes that is the main drawing force behind characters motivations. So while it definitely has a lesbian mc and has yuri elements in it, it is not a yuri visual novel. It is more of a fantasy with romance elements. That is actually what I really liked about it. The fact mc is a lesbian and she deals with her feelings through story is imporant, but it isn't main focus and more of a side plot. So she isn't defined by her sexuality but it is more of a part of her. And imo it was handled really well in this game. Her confession, rejection and making up with her best friend was better than in most yuri I read and went way further than any of those works would. She also talks about her sexuality to other characters through out the game and it feels really natural because it isn't in focus 24/7 and is more like character progression. And last thing worth mentioning is that game has great sense of humor, so I laughed out loud more than few times. In fact they actually have bloopers at the end and they are hilarious.
