Huh this one was a bit depressing, I just thought it was kind of cruel of the nurses to let her keep thinking she's a real human. I can think of ways the story could've been improved but it would require more chapters, I understand a one-shot can be more limiting in that aspect. Also that other android's design reminds me of Toph from Avatar.

It's even crueler than that. She's a robot but is given the idea of having cancer nonetheless, so she "has to" pay a large sum of money (large enough she gave up her life) for her imaginary cancer cure... one gonna wonder what kind of twisted personality the creator of her has.

Yeah. Cruelty has to be the point in the scenario. Either out of sadism or out of some kind of screwed up "misery builds character" BS, with the musing on her 'being alive'...

Edit: To be clear, I'm not calling the work bad. If the intent was to make the reader sad or upset over the tragedy, it succeeded excellently.

So they tricked her into thinking she's human and are going to enslave her with a debt she doesn't have to get for a fake tumour to make her work forever to cure a disease she doesn't have because she's a robot? That's fucking depressing.

Hmmm, I liked it, I don't see it as depressing as others did, I think it's always been interesting, how human could AI or a robot get and so on.
