For sure, but then you can also have the ShoukoTenri sort of situation where even 'real' incest is functionally indistinguishable from classmates whose parents happen to be friends. We can draw rough trends among either tag, but they're woefully imprecise, which is not something I'd expect from a content warning tag based on anything real. Hence why I'm stuck with eyebrow locked in raised position every time someone comes into a thread with "I don't usually like incest, but". (Well, that and my general inability to understand people who don't like watching people play with fire.)

Yeah, so far it's not clear "cousins" is adding much to the story beyond "childhood friends", other than giving an excuse for the guy to keep calling them sisters.

I think it's probable that no one other than Yukari knows everything. If the other girls are straight, which is likely, then they're probably not even considering the possibility that Shouko could have feelings for Tenri or that Yukari could have feelings for Shouko.

i mean honestly you are right lol. it technically is. but here it's even made a point in the story that they're strangers who only got close because of school. it's like the author's way of saying "okay it's still incest but not like that!". which is an attitude i've always found funny, but i suppose it ensures everyone gets a piece of cake.

It's prob also bc cousins dating literally isn't that big of a deal in Japan (or most European countries for that matter), compared to the USA at least. It's not illegal either, including first cousins.

It wasn't hinted at much directly, but if you paid attention, there was no strong sign of exactly who she did like. Which, given a Yuri work, is a narrative clue.
