I do want to add some lore here with those upset about the skin colors and what not but natlan is mostly based on Aztec/ mesoamerican history. They had a wide variety of skin colors and even some of their gods were fair skinned (white). This is also seen in history I believe when a foreigner went to the lands and was mistaken as Quetzalcoatl. So the pyro archon being white isn't inaccurate. Even a lot of the tribals and the art and history that we do have shows a strong indication to a hot pot of types! Natlan is not based on 20th or 21st century Brazil or Africa. It's based mostly on the south american region.

That's basically my take on it and I don't think there was anything wrong with the designs at all. And not saying no one is not allowed their own opinion this was just a little insight to the multiple reasons why the skin colors were the way they were!
