Tbh the character design for the gyaru kinda turned me off originally because of all that weird constant drooling. But the humor and crazy direction the manga kept going really hooked me on. Ended up getting such a soft spot for Kaoru. Anne is such a mad dense tsundere dog who can't even get a handle of her own feelings! I love it. Kaoru friends are great and hilarious!
The walking red flag, Tachibana, gives me such toxic grooming vibes too and I can't help but be super down bad for. Can't wait to see where this goes. Hopefully Kaoru finally gets at least a little bit of happiness with the Class Prez eventually because dang is it getting rough for her.

After having read everything uploaded so far (Ch11), I will also say I enjoy that this does seem to already be making good progress. Our main couple may have started in a weird place, but they've definitely made progress. I guess the place they're in is still weird though. This is a weird manga.

Also, I can't wait for them to finally get to dating, only for Kaoru to expose Anne to her kinks. Assuming she hasn't already

*Anne is actually REALLY REALLY REALLY interested in Kaoru. But somehow mistaken that interest to hate. (You dense mad dog, you)
*everytime Anne touches or even says hi to Kaoru, Kaoru gets overwhelmed (absolute loser lesbian behavior lmao)
*Kaoru have yet to even use Anne's name at all. She only refers Anne as Oishi and her crush (and Class Prez) so far. (Can't wait to see if Anne tries to force Kaoru to finally say her name)

The artist also did really great in showing how Kaoru used to be a loner with how she occasionally diverts away from her friends and group to stew on her negativity.

Mom smokes Winston Caster Whites, which appears to be a Winston variant that's specific to Japan.

I don't smoke, I just fucking hate brand name censoring, and this one was confusing to work out.

Also, I have the suspicion that the drooling is like a girl version of the nosebleed -- "well, we can't show him getting a boner, so... We'll show the blood going somewhere else." In this case it's a substitute for her just splooshing over Anne... But because they can't show that, they show the fluid going somewhere else.

This and “Sorry, but I’m not into Yuri” are my two favorite yuri series for their writing. Whether it’s the original JP or the EN interpretation, the prose is very well written and on point for the different types of characters. The writers have a very good handle on linguistics.

Dude yeahhhh!!! I was reading this a while back and dropped it cus it was getting too weird but i clicked on this as it recently updated on here and wow!! I forgot the name and got flashbanged. I may pick this back up but idk, author's kinda weird.

Omg yeah the last part especially!! I dont know how that didnt come to me as an explicit thought in my head b4 but that part is what kept me reading for a while.

The drooling thing make me remember about that character from Yuri Yuri that instead of have a nosebleed (unlike her twin sister) she had this drooling thing everytime she saw a Yuri situation

The author has, on occassion, mentioned that she tends to drool a lot if she's not paying attention. It's a problem some people have, incidentally. And you can hear it in her voice, she sometimes slurs her words because of it. You've gotta wonder if there's some connection there.

This is actually really amazing despite the insanity.
I seem to always love the kind which makes an insane amount of sense and deliver feels like crazy, don’t I?
Whatever, I am definitely following this Yuri of insanity which is more insane than most I’ve ever seen.

I am glad to see other people enjoying this manga as well. I think the dialogue is funny, the characters are reasonably fleshed out, and the author navigates tone shifts smoothly. On top of that I like the art style. I hope this keeps getting uploaded.

Yeah some people's muscle control has slight deficit that would result in unconscious droolling. I used to wet my pillow when sleeping, it's super annoying.

The character bios included in the volume extras have been translated, as has all the volume-exclusive content. I've translated them purely as text, and the .txt file is freely available to people who have purchased a copy of the manga, either physically or digitally, through official channels.

There are two versions of the first chapter. The one I translated is the original version. An updated version was later released with a lot of redraws, but the content (story, text, etc.) is exactly the same. This updated version was created when the series was picked up for publication, and is what you'll find in the volume edition.

You may be thinking of the oneshot this series is based on. The author wrote this concept as a oneshot for the "Ashi to Watashi" gal yuri anthology, which is incidentally where I found out about her. When she started posting an expanded series to Twitter later, I began translating it. Because the content is very similar, I have no plans to translate the oneshot.
