It seems pretty clear to me that Eko is either unknowingly a zombie already, or is at the very least some kind of mutant carrier for the virus:
- We see she's sick with a fever in Ch. 1 immediately before the zombie pandemic takes out the world (and sleeping for two whole weeks out of nowhere is suspicious on its own)
- She's able to casually stroll through the zombie-infested city without getting attacked at all; we see her literally walk right past a zombie on her way to school without either of them noticing each other, and she and Risa didn't appear to be moving with any sort of caution on their way to the theater either
- She's single-mindedly following her established pre-apocalypse desires: kill her bullies and be together with the girl who wanted to befriend her

With that in mind, it's entirely possible that Eko could have transmitted the virus to one of the group members, leading to their downfall.

...yeah I would not at all put it past Eko to have let a zombie in (though so far there's no indication of it). I'm pretty damn sure that when she says she wants to kill Miya, she's absolutely being literal

That would definitely explain a lot, yeah

Oh neat. So Miya's in a bad spot too... and wanting to kill her mother (not like I'm blaming her giving that she's been literally chained to her bed). So Risa is still the one who was treated the best by the zombie apocalypse.

Now, Miya and Eko could still kill each other, or become fast friends, really. Or become fast friends then kill each other.

I love that I have absolutely no idea where this story is going.

Wherever it's going seems to be in Crazytown, which is great news in my book. Every character confirmed alive at this point is messed up in some way or other.

MC being flustered at Risa-chan during bathing incident, trying to control herself lol...hopefully MC didn't change the bathwater lol~...I mean MC can always add more hot water, filling the bathtub with new water takes too long. Good thing Risa can still feel sense of touch, seems only her sense of taste has become a little dull and numb.

MC has neglectful mother while Miya-chan has a crazy obsessive mother who keeps her locked up in her room (Went crazy probably from father's death, assuming she was already crazy and obsessive to begin with)

...They both can bond over their crazy horrible mothers [Assuming MC doesn't kill her on sight first (Miya-chan going to need a disguise to seduce MC first to have a chance to join the possible(Low chance) a poly-relationship)]

Let see if MC's mother actually develop morals and conscience (Unlikely but anything is possible).

Oh. It seems that Miya has her own problems.

Wouldn't mind if Eko stays kinda batshit but I'm hoping Risa joins up with the two of 'em amicably (after probably some life-threatening introductions). The girls should be girling.

being Miya is also suffering

Well, shit.

Now isn't that a fascinating idea? I'll have to keep this in mind in future updates.
