And the anime, nobody's said anything yet? (^~^;)ゞ
I knew it. It wasn't quite what they expected from a direct manga adaptation. I bet the “explicit scenes” kind of serve as a way to overshadow the comedy of the series itself. And unfortunately, those who watched took the bait. (• ▽ •;) What a shame.
I know it's not easy to create an adult series from scratch when it's a manga published in a yuri-themed magazine. It's not because the genre is currently stagnant ("Watanare!" even though it's a yuri romantic comedy with less suggestive content was very successful), perhaps it's the audience's preference for stories that address hetero relationships in any niche of rom-coms, isekai, and even hentai. And to make matters worse, the studio currently producing the anime is Deregula, the same creators that produced "Yandere Dark Elf" and similar shows, so this is nothing new.
(I'm not here to discredit the work, nor the fans in general, just offering a general overview based on my own doubts. Please reconsider this in moderation.)
