Hmm..
For first few chapters, I'm completely drawn on the author/mangaka's drawing.
The mangaka's drawing/illustration on characters are beautiful, and composition.

However, reading the latest chapter..
It feels like the drawing is different than the ones the mangaka has been doing.
It looks totally different and that..it's like they change to a different medium of tool.

Hmm.. I wonder what's happening with the previous drawing style that they adapted before?

Good news. At the end of volume 8 she said her editor informed her things are going well enough to end the series as originally planned with volume 9. So everything seems to be pointing in the right direction for this to get the intended ending after that scare.

Also she said that Volume 1 in print is going ahead with a March release as well.

Things are happening, but it still remains to be seen what comes of this all...

Now this is interesting. The backstory of peachtown wasn't something I expected to see in this story, let alone that Mu Xiaoen herself literally did invest to create the peach orchards from the ground up.

This is honestly pretty relatable from a US perspective too with a town where all the jobs were centered around a factory that then closes.

Yeah I some years back lived in a place along those lines for about a year or so? Where the city was designed to be large and thriving, but it felt eerily dead. After a crackdown on factories with chemical problems and pollution it was no longer a bustling city, and it was also more dangerous with increased poverty and crime. I wish the place could have gotten back to more natural roots like this series is describing.

Girl is overthinking it, I'd say. And Mu Xiaoen is clearly not as calm as she seems...
