such a lovely series! the classic 00s look of the art and narration style lends it a novelistic quality; you can really feel takara's overflowing emotion and yearning but at the same time there's so much restraint... big ups to the translator for doing a great job on this one

Other people see pink elephants, Takara sees Ema-chans. Sounds reasonable to me.

Every time I read this, I can't help but admire the art style. It has a gentle quality that complements the characters' personalities nicely For example, the way the characters' hair is drawn looks lighter, fluffier and even more detailed when they're feeling bashful, or the little polka dots and flowers that appear in some panels, gives the manga a youthful charm. :)
