It does kind of frustrate me when you've got two different definitive versions of a game - FES for the Answer, full cutscenes and animation, Portable for FeMC - and with the remake they could have fixed it so you only needed to get the one game, but didn't.

Honestly, I don't care much about Answer, it was just dungeon crawling, removing pretty much all of the day part, which are a good chunk of what I like in persona's games. I did it once and it was a fluffing pain in the butt, never touched it again.
P3P, on the other hand, while it removed the ability to move the avatar around, improved on a lot of parts of the game while reworking most of the social links to fit the FeMC (on top of giving her much more personality than the bland MC which they insist on keeping for whatever reason)

The problem with including Kotone in P3R is that it'd be a lot of extra work and Atlus are cheap pricks who don't want to spend that much on something that will only stop like 0.1% of people from buying the game.
Especially since they could, in theory, sell Kotone later as DLC just like they're doing with the Answer. They're probably not gonna, but still, they could

^I'm out of the loop there, you mean Iroha and Laplus made fun of fighting for same sex marriage? I try to avoid April Fools content in general, as there's a lot of it that's just bad. Looking at the source for this art and using auto translate I see the artist apologizing to a response, and people being understandably frustrated with same-sex marriage being treated like a joke, but that's the only context I'm seeing offhand.

I think Pinecone meant that artist reply for an comment about "Not using same-sex marriage as an April Fools' joke", sound condescending. I think, not sure.
I didn't even know it's just an fanart, I thought it's another "official" stuff that is released as queerbait. There is a lot of it in the industry.

@nintenplayer I think that's because the ending was alterated, since season one ended with Ariel's new gun, which suspiciously vanished, not to mention how rushed some parts were (personally I still think it was a good ending).

It is not the first time to have happened, Seed Destiny, IBO and even the original Gundam series had modified endings than the originally planned due to different reasons. So is not unknown for a Gundam series to change their mind by the end. And honesty, we are the happier for it.
