I kinda hoped that the new chapter would continue right where the previous chapter ended -- Koharu going through the door into Ayase's apartment! I wanted to see Koharu's reaction when she saw that the place is a messy pigsty, haha. But I guess author-san had other ideas, sigh.

Come to think of it, maybe the fact that Ayase's apartment looks clean and tidy in this chapter is a hint about what happened? Like, Koharu said "Kore wa dame yo!" and forced Ayase to clean everything together with her?
