Do we still consider Ran's feelings as subtext or have we broken that barrier?

I agree. It was a confession of sorts, it's odd nothing happened after, except holding hands in chapter 30.

They did share Ran's futon and Keiko was happy to let Ran cuddle her and sleep in a little more... But that said, I think there's no real progress because of Keiko. Apart from the cuddling, the other sign that she might have feelings for Ran was the little blush that Keiko had after they talked about their chocolate... But it seems like she's trying to play it cool because she tried to brush off the chocolate casually too?

Me and my parents also got stuck (in Shibuya) during the quake. Thank god we were only a two-hour walk away from the hotel.

This is no Yuri so I'll stop thinking it will ever be one. However I like to see Ran. I like to think she does indeed has feelings for keiko. Thought Keiko is straight so there's the Yuri flying out the window. I like the story nonetheless because of Ran she has to have a reason to be an alcoholic I do to. There's too much honesty in this post. xD But I think Shou knows his audience is anticipating Ran+Keiko at one point and he's dropping wayyy too many hints to let it all be for nothing. I mean c'monnnnn!

Stretch is not about what is happening to the characters, it's about what has happened to them. All the drama generated has been through flashbacks or relates to the past in one way or another. It's highly doubtful Ran or Keiko will face much drama in the present until they are at peace with their past.

In other words, I'm not particularly sure anything ever will happen to them!

I do not think it's a problem for him, after all he is a hentai mangaka and the way it makes the sex scenes I think is very good.

If future scene between Ran and Keiko is equal or similar to as it was the scene between Hikaru and Megu, then I will be very satisfied.

But back to reality, if we are lucky that scene happen in Chapter 100, xd

The overall pace of Stretch is so languorous, so webcomic-slow, that it's hard to believe that anything in the story might be changing.

I am curious just where this chapter is going, and if the author has like a planned arc beyond "keep going until out of stretches/readers."
