I never said that, I said "The majority of age gap stories here are minor/adult" and recommended about taking more care around the tag if they're worried about a situation like this coming up.

I mean you can’t expect people to black list an entire tag because of some bad mangas, like I hate when loli content has rape like themes yet the author doesn’t put the rape tag there so it’s still recommended on my account or whatever, and yeah I do comment on those pages because I think rape is bad and disgusting.

And kinda like the age gap tag, while I don’t think this one is THAT bad (since I mean the kid could be like 17-18) there are some age gaps that are like “middle schooler x adult woman” which I don’t like. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna black list the tag, cause there are some good ones like “My Dear Lass” that has the age gap tag and its PEAK and NOT a child x adult.

Also I don’t think it’s wrong to treat characters like people for the most part…Like if that were the case no one would have favorite characters based off if personality, people wouldn’t cry when characters they like die because they “wouldn’t see the character as human” or whatever. Idk, seeing things as ‘human’ just makes ya more empathetic to the character.

Agreed. Not to mention, nothing happened. No objectionable physical contact, at least. The author did give her phone number but that isn't a crime. Creepy? Yes, a little. While I wouldn't encourage her behavior, I don't quite get all the outrage some have had over this. I'm starting to get the "I want to be upset over something, and this is conveniently here" vibe from some of the other commenters.

I mean if we take the context and especially from the title and when she said blah blah “you know what my books are about” blah blah, it very much could count as trying to set up a place and time to do the deed with a minor, all the people who were complaining about it understood the intent. Also yeah, it’s weird for an author (mainly in real life but still) to give a minor their phone number SPACIFICALLY to that minor because they’re a minor, is really weird.
