Someone who plays Arknights tell me, is this ship based on actual interactions and such in game? Because, without context, shipping Bagpipe & Horn sounds like a joke to me.

^Horn is the immediate CO of Bagpipe's special-forces squad - and yes everyone in it is codenamed after a musical instrument. (Apparently the Victorian military has its share of quirks...) There was like "Oboe" and "Triangle" too.

The two of them are pretty chummy as well as the squad's sole survivors by the close of the chapter they're introduced in.

Well regardless of their codenames the characters and the ship are still great imo. The chapter they're introduced in was a harrowing experience and kept me on the edge of my seat, so I'd definitely recommend the game if you can come to terms with and accept the codenames haha

Funnily codenames in Arknights never even phased me, I think because I've been a huge comic book fan since I was a wee babe and even now into my adult years. So I'm used to a lot of fun names, I've also learned over the years to take people calling what I like "silly" and so fourth in stride with names like "The Batman", other things as well like when I was younger and into DBZ there was all the vegetable names and so fourth lmao. It's all good fun imo :)

@PineconeJuice, That's what I've also heard, I think either name works. I personally like the instrument themed codenames.
