I think she recognizes that Ayano is awkwardly trying to get closer to her and tries to leave her some openings.

When Ayano gives Kyouko permission to hold her hand in the omake, I was so proud of her. Kyouko gives her plenty of room and Ayano, slowly, is growing into and maybe beyond it.

I wonder whether Namori is aware of how compelling a plot strand she's weaving with Kyouko and Ayano. Namori is a very self-aware and deviously brilliant mangaka, so I trust she is.

Also, there's been a lot of Ayano and Kyouko recently, hasn't there? I don't really like tsundere ships but now that it seems Ayano is opening up around Kyouko more, it's definitely a cute ship to me. I still prefer Ayano and Chitose though!

I- I just couldn't hold back the tears when she sad that in her speech but good thing she also included a few jokes to lighten the mood. She's such a great student council president, always knowing exactly what to say.

8th grade and I'm about to pursue a doctorate... it's been almost 10 years?
I was 13 back then and it feels strange still shipping the same 13yo characters as an adult
