Chapters 14 to 16 completely exhausted my good will with this series, that was really, really stupid.

Exactly what I felt while reading this lol
Well, I'd never say they completely exhausted my good will, but they came close

I stopped reading after the mom took Sora away and I jumped back into the newest release (Chapter 21) and I've missed such a big progress. Now I need to go back and find out how they went from friends to lovers. I'm also happy that the story didn't end right after too and will still continue.

That was lovely, but I absolutely don't believe in the mom acting like that. That said, I haven't really dealt with such people.

That sort of manipulative "Oh I'm sorry for overdoing things, here I'll make you a deal out of the generosity of my heart, you stay in my control and I'll do a good thing for you or you strike off on your own and I'll leave you out in the cold" bullshit is exactly how my parents act ALL THE TIME, so IMO it was pretty realistic. The capitulating to a classmate thing maybe less so, but I'm willing to buy it because of the whole public disturbance angle of the scene

After rereading the mom arc I think it’s better than the fanbases reaction to it.
Like she’s absolutely manipulative and abusive, but her acknowledging that ayaka is the reason sora has changed was kinda an underrated moment.

Sora was completely skipping school, and the school was contacting the mom about it, so she must also been aware of when sora finally started going to class. She of course probably didn’t think much of it because she’s emotionally distant from her daughter, but idk, her being able to identify something positive that’s come into her daughters life and actually changed her for the better redeems her a little, and her willingness to not immediately rip her daughter out of the environment that’s responsible for this positive growth feels natural.

She’s a shitty parent, but a lot of times shitty parents think what they are doing or how they are acting is the best for their kid, so it makes sense when she’s presented with what actually has helped her daughter she’s willing to back down

Cute afterword, and it's nice to have the confidence that there's at least an entire volume more to come.

The volume extras in this series are always so cute.

I love this manga so much, I hope it doesn't end soon. They are all so cute. The teacher makes me laugh.

Might this part-time job be foreshadowing for Sora wanting to become a confectioner or pastry chef~? I could see that, including "oh no we'll go to different schools" or even "oh no, Sora will go to school abroad to learn the culinary arts" drama

Hooray. They got through the month with little to no angst. And first test always sucks. Actually tests suck period.

I’m surprised they managed to get through the first month without forgetting and accidentally touching, it was all worth it in the end.

The way this chapter goes "welp, a month passed" on page 14 - even the author couldn't stand these two not touching each other!

Is better when they kiss with a bit of physical frustration

After suffering through that month, I'm almost surprised they only kept it to hugging and kissing, but then again, they are still pretty new to all this, and it only makes this more cute. ^_^

Ayaka clapping herself for a month lol, it’s also cool we’ve gone back to the core of her problem that even kick started the series, and it didn’t get magically fixed right away either

A 1 month abstinence while considering how horny these two are (Ayaka especially), I thought this would be (and it was looking like it) the chapter. Still good though. This story was reading like it was going to end after the confession arc, but glad it's still chugging along.
