A classic. I fucking love this. The story behind the original is that her gender was kept so under wraps that the people designing promotional stuff for the game weren't even informed, and they made this (well, the original just showed her power suit), unintentionally implying that she's gay. No takesies backsies.

Interestingly enough, there was another famous case where a former developer who left the team on bad terms used a slur to insinuate that Samus was trans. So now, people are like, "what's this? You say she's a hot 6'3" trans lesbian and the greatest warrior in the galaxy? Excellent, thanks Nintendo."

I mean, they're still making the rest of S2 as far as I know, and they have three specials after that to tie up the story. I wish we could get more too, but don't neglect the fact that there is still more of it to come.
