@random: I never said it didn't make sense, just that it seems to be the ONLY thing the Traveler focuses on in dialogue a majority of the time. I get the reasoning behind why they're so focused on finding their sibling, but for me it just leaves the main character feeling like they're lacking and don't have much in terms of dynamic interaction with other characters.
I've seen the "find your family member" plot numerous times in games, and it's usually something I don't personally enjoy. With Genshin I simply want a story that focuses more on traveling adventures and the intrigue of new lands, also the Traveler building relationships with people in the world and discovering the inner workings of each region. Honestly I could do without the Traveler being some ancient being.
I'm also not saying the devs should listen to me, and I'm not saying what other people should like. I'm only stating some of my opinions along with my preferences, and at risk of repeating myself but to clarify I'd prefer a plot that doesn't have the searching for family element, and instead entirely revolves around a dynamic main character that travels to different regions to seek adventures and everything that entails. That's what I like and the individual stories in each region are my reason for playing the game. Random side quests, exploring, so fourth.
