I really hope that we see what Shiori looks like as a full on mermaid. She's probably covered all over in scales, with claws, and a long fishy tail but more fish-like. Like the mermaids from Harry Potter say but with longer claws.

Throwing my opinion on the table: fox spirits were seen as both good and evil in Japanese folklore, Miko being a "monster" could go either way but the beads makes me lean towards the good variety.

I'm not sure it'll end after just two volumes, seeing as it indeed has a physical release now. If it does, it's gonna hurt, even though it would kinda fit the story, which was pretty bleak from the outset.

Hold up, all this extra does is make me like Miko more. I really don't want to think that she's the enemy Shiori makes her out to be.

From the extras, Miko seems like a genuinely good friend and it doesn’t seem like she has any ill intentions towards Hinako. She acts like a normal high school girl and loves her friend dearly, worrying about how she’s doing alone and going out of her way to help her. I hope the author doesn’t make a reveal like “She actually has the same goal as Shiori and just wants Hinako to be happy so she tastes better.” I’ll get real sad so if that’s the case cause rn she’s my favorite and I don’t want her to die lol. If so, I hope she ended up changing her mind about eating her and now just wants to protect her from other monsters.
