This was pretty nice. It was kind of odd having everyone being so instantly molesty, and I expected a little more reaction to the twincest, but I really liked the characters. I especially liked that Komari became a bit proactive in the physical aspects of the relationship instead of leaving it all to the more aggressive Hime.

It's been a very long time since I've read this. Still one of my favorite manga series.

Re-read since I'm so bored and crave for more yuri... Damn, it's so good ♥_♥

Just realized that they're at Ohtori Academy and Hime is Himemiya... well, I can't believe I missed that.

i read first chapter and leave it for six month, and now i can't believe i read whole chapter in just one night!

Just read this for the first time. Cute. I am not generally a tsundere fan, but this worked for me.

It did contain my least-favorite plot device, though: The bit about the dorm being sold/destroyed and Komari being all wound up about it, and it could've been cleared up in about 15 seconds if any one of the other dorm residents had simply mentioned it.

Nonetheless, I liked it overall. Very cute and fluffy.

I'd say using that as a joke setup is different from using it as a drama setup, although it did lay the groundwork for the last major arc about her family trying to control her. The fact that someone could have told her was the actual joke in the end.

One of the little things I really like about this is that while Komari does have the impulse to hide things from Yukio or avoid her shoujo-style, she always and quicly remembers that she just wants to be with her and that she needs to talk with her properly (or Yuiko reminds her, same difference).
They don't avoid each other forever for the sake of senseless drama (or sleep in the same bed for two month without exchanging a single word :D),

I think Komari on some level got used to being separated from people due to moving around a lot, although not in a really sad way like Nozomi from Love Live, and is kind of scared of losing the connection she's made with Yukio. So she doesn't say things she should be saying sometimes, until she reminds herself (or, as you say, gets reminded) that honesty with your lover is part of the point to having a lover in the first place.
