^ Well... according to Marine's (possibly unreliable) account of what happened, Shion is actually the one who came onto her. But she stopped at groping and they both fell asleep before things went further. Then when Marine asked her about it in the morning, she claimed to not remember doing anything. ALLEGEDLY. Either of them could be telling the truth and if nothing else it's possible that someone was drunk or maybe Marine dreamed it or something. But yeah who knows lmao. What happened that night will likely die alongside humanity as one of our greatest unknowable mysteries.
Tbh, I feel like yandere should be more broad than just “psychomurderer in love”. Tsundere might be overdone, but to carry the cooking metaphor further, atleast it’s been cooked in a variety of ways. Yandere is the same dish in the same microwave. The last time I saw anything innovative with it was in a fanfic of all things.
I know canon has never stopped a fandom from shipping, like ever!
But I still stop to wonder, why is this ship so appealing for us?
Is it the family dynamic? The contrast between Saria and Silence? Their personalities? All of the above?
I really would like to know what others see in this ship that catches their eye.
altho i love beidou and ningguang together, is it bad that ever since i started playing, i thought that if beidou and jean met it wouldve been the opposites/red and blue/feisty and graceful/more aggressive and calm type pairing, where they bicker and butt heads about how they would do it in their own different ways/beliefs but secretly have some unidentified tension between them. I thought it was already cute that Beidou sorta has this relationship w ningguang (sorta) but i cant help of thinking of what if :/
For me it's mostly the family dynamics. I like yuri families and Ifrit deserves to have her two moms together again. But I also like the contrast between the two particularly the height gap.
