Btw, if you need any help with the game, you should check out Demone Kim's channel. He's been in all the closed beta's and is a Genshin Impact veteran so I trust his advice. His advice for what you need to build your characters and how to level faster helped me a lot.

It's not your internet, their servers sending me .3MB/s on my 3G uplink.

Updated OP. Feels like playing BotW for the first time again.

The fact it's gacha-base and you roll for characters is honestly all I needed to discourage me from ever trying it out.

It doesn't really feel like a gacha game. It's like Another Eden in that it's single-player with gacha elements for some reason. But it's easier than Another Eden, so gacha isn't really needed for game progression. I do wonder what new things they'll add eventually to motivate spending.

They basically combined BotW, some Skyrim aspects, RPG leveling up mechanics, and anime. It's an interesting mix. But fun, so I hope it sticks around for a while.

I chose the brother as the main character but when I saw that the sister was on the evil side I got really intrigued, makes me want to reroll to see how she got there (watching gameplays isn't really my thing).

I made an account first day, here's my UID: 600899651. I honestly got really lucky with the gacha and ended up getting everyone I wanted. Like literally what kind of lucky roll is this...

I also got Fischl and Chongyun, so that's what my main team is gonna be. I looked up so many guides just to make sure I maximize everything from the beginning omfg... I'm using Chongyun as my main DPS, Fischl and Venti as elemental supports, and Jean as my healer. So far I'm at AR 23 and I haven't had much trouble with anything yet.

So far, co-op is when a player hosts their world for other people to play, and then you can fight bosses together or just fight together around the world. Another thing is that when you farm materials, multiple copies will drop depending on how many players there are, and everyone will be able to collect the same materials. You have to be in the same vicinity to get those drops though, so make sure to follow people around if they're going off and trying to farm materials in your world. The same applies to boss fights, but those are better since you have to spend original resin to get the rewards once you beat the boss, and that unlocks separately for each player.

The only really advantageous thing with co-op is being able to farm materials since it takes a certain amount of time for them to respawn. If you duo with someone, you'll get double the amount of farming if you farm in both your world and theirs.

The Chi quest drove me crazy, I spent 3h trying to do it alone, in the end I had to look up the solution. It was the hardest quest imo. But I spent a good time doing it !

I'm in the NA server too. I'm at AR 30 (/ω＼). Also already completed all the quests so now I'm just messing around and doing my dailies + the stuff for the battle pass. I would try and do the Abyss stuff but that's still too scary for me, I need to better gear my characters before trying it.

Some advice for new players: the most important items in the game are artifacts. They're the reason why you can play the game completely F2P and also how you can make any character viable in the game, regardless of tier lists. You can far mfor artifacts with just what you have as F2P and they're items that are completely free and aren't locked behind any gacha. The bonuses you get from artifacts eclipses any 5 star weapons in the game and you should be equipping artifacts that increase your atk or atk damage as its main stat. If you watch any of Demone's videos where he's playing on his account, he uses Jean as his main DPS and she deals like 1k+ damage every hit.

The weapons from gacha are still good, it's just they aren't as important as artifacts. They still add a lot to a character's role. Also there's nothing wrong with using Amber and MC. Tbh I should level my Amber cause pyro characters are pretty important for certain parts of the game, especially for exploration cause you need pyro for a lot of puzzles.

Iirc, it's the sound that a gashapon (lucky draw capsule machine) makes when you crank it up. The lucky-draw mechanism made it into electronic games, hence the name 'gacha'.

God, Abyss is so hard. Starting from floor 5, you have to use two teams and splitting it like that makes it so difficult. At this point, I think I need to level another healer cause using Barbara at a low level doesn't actually give me as much heals as I need.
