This page blew me away. Been awhile since I read anything by Morishima other than Hanjuku Joshi but I realized I'm not that impressed by her other early works (Hanjuku Joshi is still one of my absolute favourites though). This oneshot is pretty damned exceptional though. Glad I discovered it again.

It's a really cute story that both makes me feel "awww" and sad at the same time. The longer the story continues, the sadder I get. I don't really think of a happy end. Yes, in some ways it's a happy end for the both of them - but not a really happy end for the story. I feel like he should have lived on... =.(

I liked this, but I still felt bad for Kyou because Konomi clearly couldn't let go of the past. I mean remembrance is one thing, but Konomi was on another level of that. I kinda wish it wasn't comedic as to needing to feed the cat instead going for a more dramatic storm out. Then they make up when Konomi comes to the realization and feels bad about what she's doing to Kyou.

i think it's also kinda creepy that she's shacking up with a girl she practically helped raise, too. i don't think i could ever have sex with someone i watched grow up since they were 8 and i was 17.
