I literally don't see what the Moe Pig said wrong at the end of this chapter...I mean, yeah, he said some pretty stereotypical stuff (like the strength and responsibility comment) but I don't think any of it was particularly offensive and even if it was, he asked it in the form of a question, rather than an outright accusation. Actually, even if it is offensive, he OBVIOUSLY had no intention to offend anyone, so....I really don't see the reason for anger in this situation...
Also, FUCK. I keep accidentally read this piece of shit series, because my mindset is "Oh, I recognize that title, better read it" and then i only ever realize what I'm doing when it's too late and I'm already enraged.

I agree, Baba-Yaga was the authors' best work.

I agree that the Moe Pig didn't mean any harm, I think he doesn't even know about her sister. But I think Momoji heard it as a direct attack on her bro... sister. She seems to kind of still think of hi... her as a cross dressing guy. And so her sister must have given up any strength or responsibility, in other words, become worthless. She cares about her sister and knows she's not like that, so she got angry.

By the way, I hope we all know that cross dressers are not like that, and also that cross dressing and trans are two completely different things.

But the brain doesn't produce testosterone... the hypothalamus signals the pituitary gland (which produces a bunch of regulating hormones) which then spits out a bunch of hormones that run off to the testes to tell them to produce the testosterone. The adrenal glands (which sit on top of the kidneys) however produce both male and female hormones in small amounts. This is likely what the t-girls who have to much testosterone in them are getting it from, unless the doc who removed her testes was a screw-up and left a little bit of the nuts hanging in there.

Ah, sorry about that, I knew that sounded wrong while I typed it. I did mean the brain signalling the adrenal glands just as you said. It's been quite a while since I've talked about this stuff and got a bit turned around.

As a general rule, questions pertaining to genitals are considered VERY, VERY RUDE in trans circles. Not the least because this is the point of attack of a great many anti-trans bigots, as well as being a generally uncomfortable topic for a lot of us. Take it as trans people not being there to satisfy your curiosity, although a few might be nice enough to indulge such questions.

@Nezchan - yes, you are correct about the question being uncomfortable and most inappropriate.

So to all, if my original question offended anyone, it was not my intention to do so, and I humbly apologize if you found it offensive. And to those that replied to my question, thank you very much for responding.

I just hope Moe Pig gets some decent development and it wont turn into "Every male is scum" thing. His romance part is far more interesting then douchbag main love interest ones...

WTF? In chapter 9, the fat kid LITERALLY loses like OVER 100 POUNDS out of nowhere. As if the story wasn't already terrible, but now the art of this series is just not good and beyond inconsistent. A diet does not explain a decrease in circumference of such epic proportions so quickly. He was an actual sphere last chapter and now he barely has any fat whatsoever? Naw. I call all the bullshit. I WISH IT WAS THAT EASY AND THAT FAST ACTING!
Also, hey look, his time it's the FEMALE that's scummy! Well at least the mangaka's trying to switch it up, right? THAT WAS SARCASM! This author...I just don't even know what the fuck they are trying to do....he/she is just trying so fucking hard to be clever and come up with these bullshit dramatic scenarios...I honestly don't even think he/she is even trying anymore...
Also, that's right, I'm back...I just keep...reading it by accident....And by the time I realize what series this is I'm already invested in the plot of the chapter...FUCK. The curse of having an almost nonexistent attention span...Well, if I'm here...I just hope Shiokawa doesn't do anything to make me dislike him too...because at this point he's the only character left who hasn't crossed me in some way and forced me to put them on my shit list. Kashiwa landed herself right on that lIst THE VERY MOMENT she expressed that she had ANY KIND OF MOTHERFUCKING AFFECTION for that piece of shit Uozumi, because that could only mean that both her judgement AND her taste in men is just absolutely terrible and complete shit, no matter how small that affection there may be, as for every other character in the series....well basically the same reason (except for the youngest who has yet to do anything to make me particularly dislike, but her personality is just so disrespectful and obnoxious that I just don't care for her at all), WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE WOMEN'S TASTE IN MEN!? I MEAN FUCK! It's probably the mangaka's fault for making every single male in this series (besides the ones that actually want to be women, that is) absolute scum....God, I hate this mangaka...DON'T DISAPPOINT ME NOW SHIOKAWA! You had a look in chapter 9 that made me think you were gonna try some shit BUT JUST DONT! STAY THE SAME, MEEK WEAKLING THAT YOU ARE FOREVER! sigh I've resorted to clinging onto a not at all lovable or even particularly likeable, for that matter, but still not hateable (yet) character for this series.......Oh, you know what, there's still Kashiwa's girlfriend, but, this mangaka being the complete dipshit he/she so clearly is, I am ABSOLUTELY positive that something is going to happen that will just ruin that for me.

Another 10/10 hatorade by our resident yuri fan!

He's lost 6 kilos. There's the possibility that for a few panels after this was mentioned it was to show his "progress" or his "will" that he was downsized, maybe he'll be back fat next chapter. Or maybe the mangaka doesn't like drawing fat characters, who knows?

Also, hey look, his time it's the FEMALE that's scummy! Well at least the mangaka's trying to switch it up, right? THAT WAS SARCASM! By accident right... you're just an hopeless optimism aren't you? You think it's going to get better over time.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE WOMEN'S TASTE IN MEN!? I MEAN FUCK!

Women has bad taste in men, now that's something new!

It's probably the mangaka's fault for making every single male in this series (besides the ones that actually want to be women, that is) absolute scum....God, I hate this mangaka...

Well, it is his/her fault, someone has to do the writing obviously.

And another guy looked like he failed the test, the previous sexfriend that elbowed the eldest now has physically tried to restrain her and shit, the first one was an accident, but her we have confirmation that he's not too good either.

And that man she went to a love hotel, he's a married man right? Either she has a daddy complex ( which makes sense since daddy is never here ) or she actually is with a married man because, since he's obviously not going to leave his wife ( you know the drill, they almost never do ) she can have a sexual relationship with no strings attached. Either way, that's pretty lame thing to do.

The second one make sens to me, even if its so stupid and so lame as a logic to have sex with no string ...

yeah ... the only reason im not droppin this shit, is cuz i started it and i have freetime, i dont expect much of this manga, im just her to see how this whole shit gonna finish.

Aside from the other stuff, I do like how Momiji is basically a naïve kid and her rather disappointing "Operation Ragnarok" is the sort of thing a kid would come up with.

You can also throw in the aspect that ever since their parents died/left, the responsibility of running the family fell to her pretty early, and this can be taken as one way to claim a part of her own life for herself only. It may be escapism, but it's a chance for her to be a bit selfish and play a different role without hurting her sisters.

It's a little bit illogical if, as portrayed this chapter, the man she went in the love hotel with is indeed a married man.
Her actions might not hurt her sisters but she's obviously hurting a woman and a little girl ( which should remind her if her family ) by sleeping with a taken man.

Then again, the author might be showing us something like that to make us understand that she's in dire need of help and comfort but really cannot find anyone to be that person for her.

Also, this is a quote from my comment on another site.

I think this author has the habit of making morally dubious characters so that it becomes easier to insert a shitload of drama into the story without bending characters out of character.
It's an easy, efficient way of doing things but it does show a lack of skill as a writer in some respect.

Well clearly it's not a rational response on her part. People often make bad decisions because they aren't able to see what other options there are, and humans are very good at rationalizing decisions like that.

What I'm seeing here is Botan acting out of fear and need. She's obviously scared of commitment with her kouhai/fuckbuddy, who for his part is desperate in a different way, which I suspect relates to her position of responsibility in the family. Be sure, I'm not saying she's making good or rational choices as a result, I'm just noting that these seem to be the motivation for those bad choices.

A lot of good writers do the same thing. In fact, a lot of just plain writers use the same technique. Good or bad doesn't rest on using characters like that, it rests on execution.

The reason why I say "let's wait" is because of... ( down below )

I understand this but the reason why I pointed out in this particular case is because of the title below ( and other works as well ).

This author doesn't just make morally dubious to make plotting easy, he/she makes every single character a person which you would not like to frequent, so you can ride that roller coaster of NTR/cheating/( insert anything here ).

https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=42557

I realize I'm judging the author for his/her past work, but people tend to do the same patterns and I'm already seeing the signs here and it scares me.

Well, a more straightforward explanation may be that the author simply likes writing morally ambiguous characters. Alternately, they may have written such things and their editor liked it and pushed them to write more, which is something I gather happens in the manga business.

I'm assuming you're talking to me, since apparently I posted my comment on chapter 9 a few hours before it actually got released on this site. That's my bad, sorry about that. What had happened was I read it on another site and, since I like the comments section on this site more, I came here to whine about it like usual lol. I just assumed that it had already gotten released here since for every other chapter that had come out so far, I saw it on this site first. Guess I was a bit off lol.

Meh i lost a loooooot of respect for the big sister this chapter, her having a fuckbuddy is OK with me, her sleeping around and having an affair with a married man? not so OK with me, in fact i really hate people like that.

i know i will get a ton of replies saying im "slutshaming" but screw it im not in tumblr so i don't have to be PC all the time .
i recognize that she needs help but at the same time literally all we have seen of her to define her personality is sleeping around with guys, its like obscurus lupa said when criticizing phoebe in her charmed reviews: you need more character traits than just guys, so until she does im just going to say what i have been holding in 90% of the manga: you bitch, you stupid stupid bitch

No one would say you're slutshaming her, you've just said you're okay with fuckbuddy/sexfriends/non-commital relationships, i'd say you're doing the opposite. There's a big moral difference between sleeping with someone who's single and one who shouldn't be sleeping with you in the first place.

You're being a little funny today! You know that isn't true, although tumblr feminists are all about combating slut shaming and double standards, they're for the most part very monogamist. So going for that married guy is a big no-no, plus you're the "other woman" that's like demeaning and not empowering! You have to get your stereotypes right lady!
