I woke up from a very long nap, and only to start reading the recent ones... and find this... If she’s putting herself in for fun she really does need help xD her fantasy is Making her self in the story..

Manga-Updates apparently hasn't been edited to reflect it, but Taiyaki is definitely a woman. There was an interview she did a while back where she said she was, and IIRC talked about being a lesbian. It's linked somewhere in the 1 x 1/2 thread, and is in Spanish.

(Also, in response to some other discussion in this thread, in that interview she said that her relationship with her own mother is normal. She clearly has a pretty major kink for the mother/daughter scenario, but I'm pretty sure it's like that kind of kink usually is, where it's not something one would actually want to do in reality at all. In contrast to some other mangaka, I've never gotten the sense from her work that there's a wish-fulfillment element to it or that any of the characters are self-inserts.)

I am not joking, I am seriously confused over what is going on and who is with whom and what are their real relations. For now I see a gigantic circle of some certified families and some not so certified (vide Miyuki is into Asuka, Asuka is into Ayako but Ayako seems into Miyuki who for me except for being childhood friend also seems related to Asuka in some way)

I never got this.. Why would it make you think about yourself in the same situation?

Do you get traumatized if you read a war book because you have to imagine yourself in the horrors of war? If you read a book about ninja do you none stop think about being a ninja ? If you read a regular yuri do you always imagine if that was you?

I have never ever done that even once. These are stories about other people in the own situation- it has no direct baring on my life. I would have to actively say 'let me imagine if i was in that situation' and why would you most of the time? Does that mean you cant watch horror? They would traumatize you I guess?
