Okay this is a bit of a weird request but... any yuri manga with like, nice aftercare? I was reminded today that I'm a huge sucker for good aftercare scenes, makes me feel very nice, so I'm wondering if anyone has good manga that have nice aftercare scenes after some intense sex or BDSM. I'm guessing not, but hey, doesn't hurt to try. Like just cuddling or something would be nice, but proper BDSM with like, good, proper aftercare would make me very happy.

Here's a specific one, but manga with that same sort of bullying relationship that's there at the start of "Notes From the Garden of Lilies" but that it stops having as it goes on. Some sexual tension, lots of teasing, popular girl and less popular, idk, I feel like I've seen a decent amount of like, "romantic bullying" stuff but none of it has tickled my fancy in quite the same way as that one started out. On one hand, I wish they'd kept that relationship, but on the other, I love the whole manga so much it's hard to imagine them not being exactly as they are.

Ever since yesterday night (albeit, I must admit, with some breaks I kade when I distracted my thoughts with something else) I have felt like crying (check a post I made in Dynasty Café if you want context as to why), but for some reason no tear ever went, so just give me something you think will finally push me over that threshold.

Thank you for the recs! 1 quick note, but diptych is used only for ancient materials placed on two hinged sections, usually art but sometimes writing. Either way, manga wouldn't qualify. It'd be more of a duology. (Diptych is an awesome word, I'm not correcting you just to correct you, I think that word is super cool, I knew it already and just want to make sure it's used properly because like... what a weird word. It actually comes from words meaning "folded in two" so it's only for things that connect in that way). Anyway, I've read Game before but it was nice to read it again, and I'm gonna try the other two now.

Glad you liked the stories! Kila Kila might have been the 1st Takemiya Jin I read, and it put me in a great mood for her other stories. Everything harsher that followed was easier to take, I suppose because I knew she had such a great range. My favorite series of hers is probably Fragments of Love––I found it particularly moving. I think I'd just read the Amano Shuninta series The Feelings We All Must Endure, and so Fragments of Love left me feeling so much better.

This is kinda the reverse of what this channel is for, but I thought it might be better to put it here than to make a whole new thread. Instead of asking for recommendations based on a theme, I want to know more about a series to decide whether or not to buy it.

Anyway, so has anyone read "Yuri is my Job"? I've heard good things, but I want to know more about it and what I'd expect before I shell out $30 for all the (current) books on amazon. (Sidenote but it was always $45 previously looks like the price got dropped a good amount, that's awesome). So yeah, if you've read it, how is it? what are the good points? how explicit is the romance? Do the main couple actually get together within the 5 volumes that are out so far?

For one, i do believe there is actually 6 volumes out in Japan as Amazon as already a page for the 6th volume in english. I can only speak for the 4th first volume as i'm still waiting for the 5th one to come. Ok so as for the 4th volume so far No they aren't together. Vol.1 and 2 are focus on them and just end on getting their relation on good terms. Vol.3 and 4 are more focus on Kanoko (Hime's friend) and Tachibana (the gyaru) and about Kanoko's feelings for Hime and how she should give up. I don't know what happen yet in Vol.5 but there is clearly no progress between the MC so far.

Ugh, from top of my head Aqua Blue Cinema. It's mostly lighthearted. Also maybe Hanjuku Joshi? It's more of a exploration than fluff, but it's really good and ends on positive note. Doesn't really have any heavy drama. Right there was Wife and Wife for pure fluff.
