Please recommend a series with adults. I prefer lighthearted stories, if not slice of life.

I’ve already been reading the amnesia one. I want to know some other series too.

What about anything with bullying where it's 1) lighthearted and not depressing & 2) about the bully x the victim. Graphite, for example, is pretty great. Reversal of their roles or not is fine.

Bully & Bullied + Sequel
Itazura Privacy

Maybe also Bully and Pranking the Pranker.

Any good yuri rivalry?
Not in love though, more specifically in their field of interest. Like sports, studies, or work. I can only recall comprehensive tovarisch at the top of my head so any other recs would be much appreciated

AnoKiss/A Kiss and White Lily for my Dearest Girl, the main characters have an incredibly similar relationship to the main characters in Comprehensive Tovarisch, except it actually gets played into more and held onto for longer (in CT, it gets kinda dropped halfway through the first volume, I feel like). Overall, AnoKiss's feel is quite similar to CT, though less humor and more romance. I've called CT AnoKiss-lite before, so if you enjoyed it, I would recommend that.

As for other things and oneshots, it's pretty common in sports mangas, I'm gonna go search some out then come back and make another comment.

Oh yeah, thanks for remindimg me of AnoKiss. Imma reread it rn. And yeah, I think it's bc CT kinda got forced to end quickly or something. Or at least that's what I assume when the ending seemed rushed. The bonus chaps kinda compensated for it so I was still satisfied with the end. As for AnoKiss, I remember getting confused and mixed up by the amount of characters/couples that gets introduced every other chapter. But overall the MCs are by far the best couple of that series.

If you're okay with spoilers, I find that keeping the relationship chart from like chapter 47 or somewhere around there open in a new tab can help first-time readers of it, for a quick reference on who's who. It's my favorite manga of all time, so I can say all the characters off the top of my head, but I get why it'd be confusing.

Does anyone have good polyamory yuri recommendations?

^^Thanks! I didn't know about the chart. Maybe this time I could keep up while reading.

The Infirmary by Tatakai no Kiseki
Or better yet just browse the Mari x Kanan x Dia tag. Best poly ship imo.

Okay, @antigo, I think https://dynasty-scans.com/series/the_flower_and_the_star is kind of rivarly-y, though not super. This is https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/anaerobic_love not exactly a rivalry, because one of them isn't able to compete, but it feels like a rivalry nonetheless, the characters feel similarly about it and it's in a rivalry-type setting. This https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/the_distance_of_love is one I haven't read before, but it's kind of... resolving into a rivalry at the end? even though it doesn't start as one.

@SQDizzy This is my chance to shine. So, the only really decent explicitly polyamorous yuri on here is also porn, other than the 3 chapters from A Kiss and White Lily for my Dearest Girl, which a lot of people don't like. (I love them, personally). Two and Two is polyamory, and not bad, but eh. Is My Hobby Weird resolves into polyamory at the end, and Dark Widow is also polyamory, but those are all mostly focused on the porn, with the relationships being secondary. As for things that aren't technically polyamory, Ephemeral Asterism off I'll Send Her Home on the Last Train is very very polyamorous in its ending, even if not explicit. Other than that, there's a few that are like, "light" yuri when none of the relationships ever really resolve into much, where the girls involved seem to be attracted to more than just one of the other girls (New Game!, Riko & Haru & Irukawa Hot Springs). Finally, Tsurezure Biyori always felt pretty polyamorous to me, though I understand that's an interpretation that might not be widely shared. So yeah, I wish I had more to share than just this, believe me. If you want relationship-focused polyamory that's not mostly porn, it's just the chapters from AnoKiss and Ephemeral Asterism, which isn't even explicit. If you're okay with "friendgroups" where everyone is pretty gay for eachother, New Game and Irukawa Hot Springs are both like that, and if you're okay with stuff where the smut comes first, there's a few more options.

Edit: this is ignoring doujins and such, cause I haven't read them much. There's a good bit more polyamory in those, especially like yuyushiki or other things that are polyamory-ish initially.

In New Game, while Rin/Yagami and Hifumi/Aoba are clearly intended as the primary pairings, there's also clearly some stuff between Yagami and Aoba, and Aoba and Umiko, and Yagami and Umiko, and Aoba and Nene, and Nene and Umiko. Your exact interpretation of that is up to you, but I am interpreting at least some of that as romantic or sexual attraction, which I think is perfectly valid. I did not say it was explicitly polyamory, ever, I very explicitly said that it was "light" yuri (or subtext, or w/e you want to call it) where I felt multiple of the relationships had attraction between them.

Normal interactions in a work environment, like getting turned on seeing your coworker in her panties or getting asked on a date by a coworker. Like, if Nene and Umiko is a "true" pairing, Umiko does many of the same exact fucking things with Aoba. I never put this forward as anything but my opinion, why do you feel so much need to attack me any time I put forward an opinion on polyamory on this site? It's fucking ridiculous, this is like the 4th time it's happened. I am polyamorous and I like polyamory. If you don't, please, just shut the fuck up and let me enjoy things.

I honestly don't care at all how you feel about it, I care how you talk about it and respond to me talking about it, which is shittily.

It is pretty funny seeing people grasp onto the faintest shreds of yuri subtext but feel the need to step in when others do the same for poly subtext.

You know what ? I'm gonna delete the message because it's not the place to discuss about that and apparently i'm not authorized to have a different opinion on the subject.

Anyway i don't really care about that anymore

Dat double negative…

I can’t decide on a single favorite, so I’ll go with Kazuma Kowo for favorite published artist and Mezashi for favorite doujin artist.

I think "sfw" sounds weirder for some reason.

Also, thanks for the recommendations

Well, the first one that springs to mind is Nakatani Nio, not just because of my favourite manga, YagaKimi, but also several works in the Eclair anthologies.

Takeshima Eku has a great anthology of yuri stories, and their ongoing manga, Whispering You a Love Song, is one of my favourite ongoing series.

Inui Ayu is a pretty recent arrival on the scene of the yuri genre and of this site, but she's already shaping up to be one of my favourites.

The only reasons why Ajiichi and Yukiko come to mind is one series each of theirs that I've read.

I thought about it for a moment, I think Amagakure Gido might be one of my favorite yuri authors of all time, I feel like just about everything she's put out has been really really good. Admittedly, that's just the anthology I'll Send Her Home on the Last Train and a single oneshot, but every story from the anthology just hit perfectly right.

I also feel similarly about Usui Shio, where the body of work isn't as prolific as some authors, but every single one of the works seems to be pretty good, but not quite as memorable as those off I'll Send Her Home on the Last Train. Crescent Moon and Donuts though is fucking spectacular so far and looks to be only getting better. That's the two I'd shout out right now, for being incredibly consistent and SFW.

Can i have recommendations for something like Miss Sunflower? Just slice of life "friendship", but not really slice of life like yuru yuri or futaribeya

Really good cuddling scenes. Stuff where there's just the sweetest cuddles. Sighs and nuzzling and intertwined limbs and falling asleep in eachother's arms. This probably won't help with me feeling lonely right now but still.

Hello. Anyone got a manga that prominently features a sly/cat-like girl with short black hair?
